It was very promising at first but fell short. We were hoping to use it to avoid having to integrate a Shopify site with our WordPress site. We thought we would be able to avoid having to maintain 2 front ends especially the time it takes to make both themes match. But we discovered a few shortcomings which were deal-breakers:
A mechanism to search Shopify products from WordPress doesn’t exist
A dropdown isn’t available to allow customers to change the order of products to alphabetical, most popular, least expensive, etc?
Images can’t be made the same height so the titles and prices in each row line up

Great service for Wordpress!
ADVICE:
Use the BUY BUTTON Code on the Shopify.com userinterface to embed products with more control.
I recommend activating this plugin and posting a product (using the plugin) on a ‘private page’ to enable the floating Shopify Cart icon on every page.

First I tried the Shopify Buy Button on my WordPress site…. WRONG!… its doesn’t work…
If it doesn’t work, why in the hell would Shopify offer it…AND…promote that it DOES work, but omit mentioning that it only works with .org …. DUH!… How many people build a Shopify site on a non-profit platform?….AND…you don’t tell us about it?…OMG…Thank you for wasting hours and hours of my time…
Now… I discover that there is an APP offered by Shopify, specifically for WordPress… Here’s a plan…Why don’t you tell you tech people about it?…They did not have a clue…even when the case was escalated… Shopify tech support…clueless…
Okay…so now I’ve downloaded the ‘for pay’ Shopify app….oh, okay… I have to PAY to connect to my own website!!! Gee, don’t you think you might have mentioned that in the sales pitch?
Right now I have spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of my time building a WP platform…to connect to a Shopify store that took hundreds of hours to build…. and now I find that Shopify won’t work with WP…no matter what I do…
…and.. my email, text and phone remain silent from Shopify… that ol’ 24/7 support is not workin’ you guys…
I am so pissed I can hardly write….

This plugin is sufficient for the basics. However, it offers little to nothing in the way of customizations. I wish they’d allow users to customize things like font family, font color, and button font to better match a website theme. It’s pretty much impossible to target and change the CSS for these things without rewriting the HTML. If that’s the case, what’s the point of offering this plugin?

At the very least you’re going to have to pay 9$ a month or 29$ a month for just basic service. They don’t tell you this up front. You find out after you install the plugin. It’s basically a worthless plugin if you don’t have a Shopify account.
