## Description

**Shibhu Sticky Bar** lets you add a beautiful, fully customisable sticky notification
bar to the top or bottom of your website — directly from the WordPress admin area.

   font weight, letter spacing.
 * **Behaviour options** — Position (top/bottom), sticky on scroll, slide-in animation,

 * **Dismiss remembers** — Close button dismissal is remembered per browser session.
 * **Accessible** — Proper ARIA roles, keyboard-focusable close button, `prefers-
   reduced-motion` support.
 * **Lightweight** — No jQuery dependency on the frontend; vanilla JS only.
 * **Security-first** — WP nonces, capability checks, full input sanitisation and
   output escaping throughout.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `shibhu-sticky-bar` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress.
 3. Go to **Sticky Bar** in the admin sidebar.
 4. Configure your bar and click **Save Settings**.
 5. Toggle the **Live** switch to make the bar visible to visitors.

## FAQ

### Can I have more than one sticky bar?

The plugin is intentionally designed for one focused notification bar. Multiple 
bars can fragment visitor attention.

### Will the bar cover my content?

When the **sticky** option is enabled the plugin automatically adds body padding
equal to the bar height so no content is obscured.

### Does the close button stay dismissed after refresh?

Dismissal is stored in `sessionStorage`, so it persists for the browser session (
until the tab or browser is closed).

### Is it compatible with page builders?

Yes. The bar is injected via `wp_body_open` (with a `wp_footer` fallback) and is
independent of any page builder.
