## Description

Service Web Builder Guided Estimate Calculator helps service businesses collect
better estimate requests from their WordPress websites. Create guided, multi-step
estimators, apply price adjustments to answer choices, show customers a preliminary
estimate range, and save each request as a lead in WordPress.

The estimator opens from an automatic floating **Get Estimate** button on desktop
and mobile. No shortcode or page-builder integration is required.

#### Service Web Builder Premium Edition

The Service Web Builder Premium Edition is a separate plugin available from Service
Web Builder. It adds optional customer photo uploads, an Elementor widget, floating
Call and Text buttons, sitewide and page-specific estimator selection, advanced
design controls, additional lead-management features, commercial updates, and priority
support.

[Learn about the Service Web Builder Premium Edition](https://servicewebbuilder.com/)

Service Web Builder Guided Estimate Calculator is fully functional without purchasing
the premium edition. No included feature expires or requires a license key.

### Privacy

Service Web Builder Guided Estimate Calculator stores information submitted through
an estimator in the website’s own WordPress database. Depending on the form configuration
and what a customer enters, stored information can include the customer’s name,
telephone number, email address, service address or area, notes, estimator answers,
preliminary estimate range, source-page URL, and submission time.

Administrator notifications are sent through the website’s configured WordPress
email system. The plugin does not send lead data to Service Web Builder and does
not load executable code from an external service.

To limit automated submissions, the plugin creates a temporary, salted hash derived
from the visitor’s IP address, browser user-agent, and estimator ID. The raw IP
address and user-agent are not stored by this rate limiter. The temporary rate-limit
record expires after one hour.

Site owners are responsible for providing an appropriate privacy notice, selecting
a lawful basis for collecting information where required, limiting access to lead
records, configuring secure email delivery, and exporting or deleting customer information
when applicable.

Deleting the plugin through WordPress permanently removes Service Web Builder Guided
Estimate Calculator settings, estimators, leads, events, and capabilities.

## Installation

 1. In WordPress, open **Plugins > Add New Plugin**.
 2. Search for **Service Web Builder Guided Estimate Calculator**, or select **Upload
Plugin** and upload the plugin ZIP.
 3. Activate Service Web Builder Guided Estimate Calculator.
 4. Open **Estimate Calculator > Estimators** and create one or more estimators.
 5. Add questions, answer choices, and any price adjustments.
 6. Publish the estimator.
 7. Open **Estimate Calculator > Settings** and choose which published estimator the
    floating popup should display.
 8. Visit the public website and select the floating **Get Estimate** button to test
    the popup.

the floating popup. It does not insert the question form into page content.

## FAQ

### Is the displayed price a final quote?

No. Service Web Builder Guided Estimate Calculator displays a preliminary range
based on the rules configured by the website owner. The business must review the
request and confirm final pricing.

### How many estimators can I create?

You can create and publish unlimited estimators. Under **Estimate Calculator > Settings**,
choose which published estimator opens from the floating Get Estimate button.

### Where does the estimator appear?

After the estimator is published, a floating Get Estimate button appears automatically
on desktop and mobile. Selecting the button opens the estimator in a popup.

### Does the plugin accept customer photos?

No. Customer photo uploads are available in the separate Service Web Builder Premium
Edition.

### Does the plugin work with Elementor?

The floating popup works independently of the page builder used by the site. A dedicated
Elementor widget is available in the Service Web Builder Premium Edition.

### Where are customer requests stored?

Requests are stored in plugin-owned WordPress database tables and are available
under **Estimate Calculator > Leads**.

### How are notification emails sent?

Service Web Builder Guided Estimate Calculator uses the standard WordPress mail
function and the email configuration of the website. Delivery depends on the site’s
hosting or SMTP configuration.

### What happens when I delete the plugin?

Using WordPress to delete Service Web Builder Guided Estimate Calculator permanently
removes its settings, estimator, lead records, event records, and plugin capabilities.
Export or otherwise retain any information you need before deletion.
