A brief Markdown Example

Features added in version 1.0:

  • everything thus far

  • Search in action!

  1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. You can now, for example, search for post id 123 by doing a search for “#123”

Can I change the prefix from # to something else?

Not via the admin (yet). Add this to your themes functions.php and replace the # with any character you desire:

function asid_prefix_replacement($wp) {
    global $ASID_PREFIX;
    $ASID_PREFIX = '#';
add_action( 'parse_request', 'asid_prefix_replacement', 99 );
