Description
With SardexPay for WooCommerce you can add payments in Sardex credits to the payment methods of your online shop.
If you run a VAT-registered business that is a member of the Real Economy Circuit, you can now accept payments in credits in your online shop too.
If your business is also part of SardexPay Cashback, you can receive payments from the members of the consumer (B2C) programme as well, and reward your customers for every purchase with top-ups in Sardex credits, granted directly from your online shop, quickly and easily.
Remember: to do this, your business must be a member of the SardexPay circuit and/or of the SardexPay Cashback programme.
The plugin’s screens, for both merchants and customers, are in Italian.
Ready?
Receive payments in Sardex credits securely
Receiving payments in Sardex credits from circuit members is simple.
All they have to do is choose the “SardexPay” payment method among the available ones and complete the purchase.
Reward your customers online in a few clicks
SardexPay Cashback customers get twice the benefit.
When they buy from your shop, they can receive a top-up in Sardex credits based on the top-up percentage you set. The top-up amount is shown in the cart right away and, once the payment has been received, you can grant it to your customers in a few steps.
Few settings, many opportunities
At any time, with a couple of clicks, you can set the plugin to offer top-ups, to accept payments, or both. Just open the settings and choose what to enable according to the needs of your online shop.

External services
The plugin works with SardexPay, the payment circuit it is made for, and it connects to the SardexPay platform only on behalf of a merchant who has entered their SardexPay username and password in the settings.
The plugin contacts the SardexPay platform:
- when the merchant saves the settings, and then twice a day, to read the merchant profile (enabled services and top-up percentage), authenticating with the merchant username and password;
- when a customer chooses a SardexPay payment method at checkout, to create the payment request: the order number, the order total, the web address of the shop and the shop addresses to return to after the payment are sent;
- when the customer comes back from the payment page, or when SardexPay notifies the shop of an approved payment, to confirm the payment: the order number and the number of the payment request are sent;
- when a customer asks for a SardexPay Cashback top-up on the order received page, to credit it: the card number entered by the customer, the order total excluding shipping and the web address of the shop are sent.
To approve a payment, the customer’s browser is sent to the SardexPay payment page, where the customer logs in to their SardexPay account.
In sandbox mode the plugin uses the SardexPay test platform instead.
The plugin does not send the customer’s name, email address or postal address.

FAQ

To join the circuit, send us a request with the form at https://www.sardexpay.net/partecipa/, or write to us at contattaci@sardexpay.net.
Visit www.sardexpay.net for more information. -
I am a member of a commercial credit circuit other than SardexPay. Can I use the plugin?
-
Yes, the plugin can be used with all the commercial credit circuits that are SardexPay partners:
- Circuito Venetex;
- Circuito Abrex;
- Circuito Felix;
- Circuito Linx;
- Circuito Mountex.
Once installed, the plugin automatically adapts the branding and the currency to the circuit of the member who installs it.
-
What is SardexPay Cashback?
-
SardexPay Cashback is the SardexPay programme for consumers. To join it, your company or business must be a member of the SardexPay circuit.
-
Where can I find information and guides about the plugin?
-
For information about installing the plugin, see the “Installation” tab of this page.
To learn how the plugin works, download the guide (in Italian). -
Can I use a sandbox/test mode?
-
Yes. To test payments and top-ups you need a dedicated account, which you can request by writing to broker@sardexpay.net.
-
What should I do when a top-up is “to verify”?
-
It happens when SardexPay gives no clear answer to a SardexPay Cashback top-up request, for example because the connection timed out: the top-up may have been made. The order gets a note, and the customer cannot request the top-up again. Check in SardexPay whether the top-up was made, then choose the matching action among the order actions of the order edit screen: “la ricarica risulta effettuata” (it was made) or “la ricarica non risulta, il cliente può riprovare” (it was not, and the customer can try again).
