## Description

Your form can say “Message Sent” while the notification email still has problems.

This plugin keeps an admin-only backup of supported form submissions on your own
site, and shows WordPress mail-processing health in one dashboard — fully self-hosted,
nothing sent off-site.

**Highlights**

 * Local submission backup in your own WordPress database.
 * Admin dashboard with total, sent, failed and unknown submission mail status.
 * Full lead detail view without opening your email inbox.
 * A test-lead tool that creates a local test lead and runs a real `wp_mail()` test.
 * Weekly form health summary.
 * WordPress mail failure log with recipient, subject, error and timestamp metadata.
 * CSV export.
 * Configurable local retention.
 * WordPress personal data export and erasure integration.
 * No cloud account, tracking service, or external API required.

**Supported form sources**

 * Contact Form 7
 * Elementor Pro Forms
 * WPForms
 * Gravity Forms
 * Fluent Forms

**WooCommerce email monitoring**

WooCommerce transactional email uses the WordPress mail pipeline. This plugin therefore
records WordPress `wp_mail()` success/failure events used by WooCommerce and other
plugins when mail-event logging is enabled.

**Important email status note**

WordPress documents that the `wp_mail_succeeded` action only means PHPMailer processed
the request without an error. It does not guarantee that the recipient received
the message in their inbox. This plugin intentionally labels this state **Sent**,
not **Delivered**.

**Security and privacy**

Lead data is kept in your own site’s database — it never leaves your server. Common
password, payment-card, nonce, CAPTCHA and security-token fields are intentionally
omitted. Email bodies are not stored in the mail log.

After activation, review Settings > Privacy if your site needs to disclose local
form-submission storage.

## FAQ

### Does this plugin guarantee email delivery?

No. WordPress can report whether PHPMailer processed an email request without an
error, but that does not prove inbox delivery. The dashboard reports **Sent**, **
Failed**, or **Unknown** accordingly.

### Where are form submissions stored?

In custom tables inside your own WordPress database. Nothing is sent to any cloud
service — everything stays on your server.

### Does it store passwords or card details?

No. Common password, card/CVV, payment-token, nonce, CAPTCHA and security-token
fields are intentionally filtered out of local backups.

### Does it replace my form plugin?

No. It works alongside supported form plugins as a backup and mail-health layer.

### Why can a submission show Unknown?

The form submission was captured, but no definitive WordPress mail success or failure
event was observed for that submission request. This can happen when notifications
are disabled, delayed, queued or sent asynchronously.

### Does it work with SMTP plugins?

It listens to WordPress mail success/failure hooks. Many SMTP plugins still use
the WordPress mail pipeline, but behavior depends on how the mail plugin sends or
queues messages.

### Does it track visitors?

No analytics or remote tracking is included. Supported form-submission data is stored
on your own site, for your site administrators only.
