Description
PLEASE NOTE: This plugin uses the widget_title filter, which WordPress applies to classic widgets only. Since WordPress 5.8 the widget area uses block widgets by default, and a heading inside a block widget is not a widget title in that sense. If you want to hide titles there, use classic widgets, for example with the Classic Widgets plugin.

Changelog
1.0.3 Tested with WordPress 7.1 on PHP 7.4, 8.3 and 8.4. The title filter is now registered with add_filter and returns an empty string instead of null, which removes deprecation notices on PHP 8.1 and newer. Dismissing the admin notice now requires a valid nonce, which closes a request forgery gap without locking out editors and authors. Please note: the filter applies to classic widgets only, not to block widgets. The admin notice now links to a page that exists again, and its stylesheet uses a plugin specific handle so it no longer collides with our other plugins.
1.0.1 Ability to dismiss admin notice persistently.
