Please add wp_unique_post_slug() https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/
wp_unique_post_slug before save to MySQL. This plugin now (version 4.9.1), makes
a mess in MySQL. Toons of duplicate slugs.

After an import from a non wordpress site, all blogs suddenly had a slug like “revision-
v4-1” or something like that. This plugin save me a lot of trouble fixing this.
