A customer writes in, someone retypes their address into a spreadsheet, and three weeks later nobody can say which products come back most often or why. Recirco for Woo replaces that with a self-service portal and an approval queue. **For your customers** * A “Returns” tab in My Account, listing every request and its current status * Pick the order, pick the items, pick a reason – no email chain * Only items that are genuinely returnable are offered: inside the window, not already refunded, not on your excluded list * A status page that says what happens next, with your return address and their RMA number **For you** * An approval queue with filters, search and bulk approve, reject or receive * A detail screen per return: items, reasons, customer notes, and a full activity log * Status changes follow a real state machine, so a return can never jump from “ rejected” to “refunded” by accident * Restock on approval, on arrival, or on completion – your call * Create the WooCommerce refund straight from the return * Internal notes, plus notes you email to the customer **Return window rules** Set the window in days and measure it from the order’s completed, paid or created date. Exclude individual products or whole categories – useful for hygiene items, clearance and perishables. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install it through Plugins Add New. 2. Activate it. WooCommerce must already be active. 3. Go to WooCommerce Returns settings and set your return window. 4. If the Returns page in My Account 404s, visit Settings Permalinks once to flush your rewrite rules. ## FAQ ### Does this work with High-Performance Order Storage? Yes. The plugin declares HPOS compatibility and reads orders through the WooCommerce CRUD layer. ### Where is return data stored? In three custom tables rather than as posts, so the queue stays fast and analytics can group by reason and product. Deleting the plugin does not delete that data unless you tick the option under Advanced. ### Can guests request returns? Not in this version. Requests are tied to a customer account so the portal can authenticate them. ### Can I change the wording or layout? Yes. Copy any file from the plugin’s `templates/` folder to `yourtheme/recirco/` and edit it there. Your changes survive updates. ### Does approving a return refund the customer automatically? Only if you choose that.
