## Description
Rampa scans your site (up to 100 pages, desktop and phone), explains every accessibility
failure in plain words, writes the corrected code, tests it, and keeps a public
accessibility statement that updates after every scan.
This plugin connects your WordPress site to that statement:
* **Dashboard widget**: your current score out of 100, how many critical and serious
failures remain, how many fixes are ready, and the three things to fix first,
each linking to a page that explains the failure and shows the corrected code.
* **Footer badge**: a small image with the live score and a link to your public
accessibility statement, on every page. Turn it off and place it yourself with
the `[rampa_badge]` shortcode.
* **Three languages** for the badge and the statement: English, Spanish, Portuguese.
The plugin sends nothing about your users or your content. It only reads the public
statement token you paste in Settings and fetches the same public data the statement
page shows (see “External services”). No account or API key is stored in WordPress.
An accessibility statement and a live badge are what courts, buyers and procurement
teams look for first: they show the site is being kept accessible, not fixed once.
Rampa is a paid service with a free scan. The badge and the statement stay online
while the site is monitored.
### External services
This plugin connects to Rampa (https://rampa.solutions), the accessibility monitoring
service that produces the score, the statement and the badge. Rampa is operated
by the plugin author. It is used in three places:
* **Dashboard widget and settings page** (in the WordPress admin only): the plugin
requests the public statement data for the token you pasted (`https://rampa.solutions/
api/public/site/?lang=`). It sends the token and the language
you chose, at most once an hour (the answer is cached). It sends no personal
data, no content from your site and no information about your users. The token
is the same one printed in your public statement link; it cannot open your Rampa
account or change anything.
* **Footer badge and `[rampa_badge]` shortcode** (public pages): the badge is an
image served by Rampa (`https://rampa.solutions/badge/.svg`). When a visitor
loads a page with the badge, the visitor’s browser requests that image from Rampa,
so Rampa receives the request the way any image host does (IP address, browser
type, the page that embeds it). Nothing else about the visitor is sent. If you
prefer not to load it, turn the footer badge off in Settings and do not use the
shortcode: the dashboard widget still works.
* **“Scan this site on Rampa” link** (settings page): a normal link that opens
rampa.solutions in a new tab with your site address prefilled. Nothing is sent
until you click it and start a scan there.

## Installation
1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Go to Settings Rampa Statement.
3. If you do not have a Rampa account yet, click “Scan this site on Rampa” (free,
one minute).
4. In Rampa, open the site page, then “Accessibility statement” “Open statement”,
and copy the link.
5. Paste the link in Settings and save. The badge appears in your footer and the score
in your dashboard.
## FAQ
### Does the plugin fix accessibility failures?
No. It shows them and links each one to its fix. The corrected code lives in your
Rampa report; your developer pastes it, or you fix the no-code ones in the editor(
image descriptions, titles, link text, form labels).
### Is this an accessibility overlay or widget?
No. It adds nothing to how visitors see your site, apart from a small badge in the
footer. The failures are fixed in the code, not covered up in the browser.
### What does the plugin send to Rampa?
From your server, only the public statement token and the language, once an hour
at most, to read the public statement data. The footer badge is an image hosted
by Rampa, so visitors’ browsers request it like any other image. Details in “External
services” above.
### Can I place the badge somewhere else?
Yes. Turn off the footer badge in Settings and use the `[rampa_badge]` shortcode
in any widget, template or page.
