Push up the Web for WordPress

Description

When people visit your website using an outdated browser, a subtle upgrade link is shown at the top right hand corner of the screen. They can click this link to visit the upgrade website for that browser, or choose to be reminded after a time you specify.

Pushup is currently targeting the following browsers:

  • Internet Explorer < 9
  • Firefox < 4
  • Safari < 5
  • Opera < 11

Refer to Pushup for a demonstration. Click on the browser logos to have the upgrade notification shown.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin archive.
  2. Upload the contents of the archive to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
