Installation

This plugin is easy to install like other plug-ins of WP as you need to just follow the below mentioned steps:

upload publish-post-notification folder to wp-Content/plugins folder.
Activate the plugin from Dashboard / Plugins window.
Now Plugin is Activated, Go to the Usage section to see how to use Vertical News Scroller.

Usage

1.Use of publish post notification is easy after activating plugin go to Settings menu.

2.Select Publish post email template sub menu.

3.Fill out email template you can use place holders in email content.

4.Thats it your email is set now whenever a post is publish the author is notified via email.

Since upgrading to WordPress 5.7, I tried 2 other plugins to notify the author when a custom post type is published, and neither worked. I purchased your “pro” version today and it worked perfectly. We need this feature for our project, so thank you for providing it.

Since we moved our news platform to WP in late 2016, this plugin has been part of a hand full of true life savers — allowing us to ping an author/staffer when story is live. Truly invaluable for our business. Have not yet tried the new April 2019 update, but have been appreciative this even exists at all. The old version works with WP 5.1, so hoping new version does too. THANK YOU!!! 🙂
