Customers can describe what they need, mention a budget or occasion, and receive matching products from the store catalog. The plugin works with local WooCommerce product discovery and can optionally use the WordPress AI Client for AI-generated recommendations. The WordPress AI Client communicates with the AI provider configured by the site administrator. The plugin does not directly connect to or choose a specific AI provider. The site administrator is responsible for configuring an AI provider supported by their WordPress AI Client setup. When an AI response is requested, the plugin may send: * The customer’s conversation messages submitted to the AI Salesman. * Relevant product names, prices, stock information, and product IDs from the candidate catalog. * Instructions needed to generate the requested AI Salesman response. This information is sent only when the optional AI feature is enabled and an AI provider is available through the WordPress AI Client. ### Privacy Local WooCommerce product discovery can operate without an external AI service. If the optional AI feature is enabled, relevant conversation and candidate product information may be processed by the AI provider configured by the site administrator. The plugin does not intentionally send AI provider credentials to the browser. Site administrators should review the privacy terms of their configured AI provider and update their site’s privacy policy and notices as required by their jurisdiction and business model. ## Installation 1. Install and activate WooCommerce. 2. Upload the plugin through **Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**. 3. Activate **Publicity Expert AI Salesman**. 4. Go to **Settings > AI Salesman**. 5. Optional: enable AI and configure an AI provider through your WordPress AI Client setup. 6. Visit the storefront and use the **AI Salesman** launcher, or place `[peais_salesman]` in a page or template. ## FAQ ### Does the plugin require OpenAI? No. Local WooCommerce product discovery works without an external AI provider. AI- powered responses require the optional AI feature and a compatible provider configured through the WordPress AI Client. ### Does the plugin require WooCommerce? Yes. WooCommerce is required because the assistant works with the store’s product catalog. ### Can I move the AI Salesman button? Yes. Drag the launcher with a mouse or touch input. Its position is remembered by the browser. ### Where do I configure the plugin? Go to **Settings > AI Salesman** in WordPress admin. ### Does the plugin send data to external services? Only when the optional AI feature is enabled and an AI provider is configured through the WordPress AI Client.
