Description

Delivery Dates play a vital role in any type of Ecommerce store for customer satisfaction & retention. That is why we built the Product Delivery Date plugin.

This plugin will allow the customer to choose a delivery date on the WooCommerce product page on your website. The customer can choose any delivery date that is after the current date. The site administrator can enable or disable the delivery date capture on the frontend product page.

This plugin allows you to improve your customer service by delivering the product on the customer’s chosen date.

This plugin allows you to do the following:

  1. You can set minimum required time for delivery in hours.
  2. You can choose how long in future you want to take deliveries
  3. It uses the inbuilt WordPress datepicker.

Pro Version:

Product Delivery Date – The Pro version allows the customer to choose a delivery date & time frontend product details page. Date Settings, Time Settings, Global Settings & Black-out dates allow the site owner to decide which dates should be made available for delivery. Following features are available in PRO version:

  1. Ability to allow the customer to select Delivery Time along with Delivery Date.
  2. Ability to block dates after a number of deliveries made for a date/time slot.
  3. Different delivery charges can be added for different weekdays, specific dates or time slots.
  4. Specify Cut-off time for Same-day & Next-day deliveries
  5. Ability to View Deliveries in the admin in a list format as well as in a calendar.
  6. Flexible Field Labels text.
  7. Add holidays or black-out dates to the calendar.
  8. Choose your custom calendar language.
  9. Choose from 24 different themes for the calendar.

Installation

Option 1:

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard->Plugins->Add New
  2. Search Product Delivery Date for WooCommerce plugin using search option
  3. Find the plugin and click Install Now button
  4. After installation, click on Activate Plugin link to activate the plugin.
  5. Enable the Product Delivery Date calendar from the admin Products -> Add/Edit products page.

Option 2:

  1. Download the plugin product-delivery-date-for-woocommerce-lite.zip
  2. Unpack the product-delivery-date-for-woocommerce-lite.zip file and extract to the product-delivery-date-for-woocommerce-lite folder
  3. Upload the plugin folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Go to WordPress dashboard, click on Plugins from the menu
  5. Locate the Product Delivery Date for WooCommerce plugin and click on Activate link to activate the plugin.
  6. Enable the Product Delivery Date calendar from the admin Products -> Add/Edit products page.

Option 3:

  1. Download the plugin product-delivery-date-for-woocommerce-lite.zip
  2. Go to WordPress Dashboard->Plugins->Add New
  3. Click on Upload Plugin link from top
  4. Upload the downloaded product-delivery-date-for-woocommerce-lite.zip file and click on Install Now
  5. After installation, click on Activate Plugin link to activate the plugin.
  6. Enable the Product Delivery Date calendar from the admin Products -> Add/Edit products page.

Is it possible to add delivery date calendar on checkout page instead of for each product?

It is not possible to add Delivery date calendar on checkout page from Product Delivery Date plugin. However, we do have a plugin named Order Delivery Date for WooCommerce Pro which you can use to add a Delivery Date on the WooCommerce checkout page.

Can the customer enter the preferred delivery time for the product?

Currently, there is no provision for entering the delivery time in the free version. This is possible in the Pro version. View Demo

Is the delivery date field mandatory on the product page?

This is not possible in the free version. In the Pro version, the delivery date field can be configured as Mandatory or optional using the ‘Mandatory field?’ setting.

Can we change the language of the delivery date calendar?

This is not possible in the free version. In the Pro version, you can change the language of the delivery date calendar on the WooCommerce product page. There are 62 different languages to choose from.

Is it possible to add extra charges for weekdays or specific dates?

Currently, it is not possible to add the extra charges for deliveries on weekdays or for specific dates in the free version. However, this feature is available in the Product Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce plugin.

Is it possible to edit the selected delivery date for the already placed WooCommerce orders?

Currently, it is not possible to edit the selected delivery date for the WooCommerce orders in the free version & in the pro version as well.

  • A new dismissible notice is added in the WordPress admin, which provides an option to allow usage tracking of the non-sensitive data of our plugin from the website.
