Display financial charts from csv files with Price Charts For Trading!
It's a simple plugin written by programarivm for displaying CSV-based financial charts on your website.
It is automatic! All you have to do is rename your CSVs by adding them the prefix 'pcft-', and upload. Valid filenames are pcft-EURUSDH1.csv, pcft-XAUUSDH4.csv, etc. CSVs must be generated by MetaTrader 5 for everything to work ok. However, if you are an experienced user you can create your own CSVs, but please keep in mind that you should generate them as MetaTrader 5 does.
MetaTrader 5 is trading software designed by MetaQuotes. We encourage you to download MetaTrader 5 so that you can create as many financial CSV files as you want!
By typing Ctrl + S when displaying a MT5 chart window, for instance EURUSDH1.
There is a very important thing to note at this point. Once MT5 generates a new CSV file, you have to make sure that it weighs less than 100 Kb so that you can upload it to WP. Note that any app attempting to open a heavy file may slow down the entire system. Therefore it is very likely that you end up creating a new CSV file from the original one which was generated by MT5.
So, please, open the original CSV that MT5 created for you, copy the text lines you want to actually plot and then paste them into your new lightweight CSV file. Don't forget to add the prefix pcft- to your new CSV filename! Remember that valid filenames are pcft-EURUSDH1.csv, pcft-XAUUSDH4.csv, etc.
The easiest way to upload files is through WordPress Media Library. After ensuring that your new CSV file weighs less than 100 Kb and that you renamed it by adding to it the prefix pcft-, it is time to upload your CSV to your WP server.
