Why users love Weather:

“I work for a small non-profit, and I convinced them to let me build them a website, but they have a limited budget and don’t want to pay for ‘extras.’ This weather app is free and works great! Easy to install and resize, etc.” – Diane Hagelthorn

Do I need to create a POWr Account?

Yes, you need a POWr Account. Your account allows you to create and save plugins, edit them in your live page, and use them on multiple different websites.

How do I add Weather to a page or blog post?

Create and save the plugin in your WP Dashboard. Then copy and paste the unique shortcode into any page or post. You can continue editing the plugin on your live page, in your WP Dashboard, or by logging in to www.powr.io.

How do I add Weather to a theme?

In your WP Dashboard, select Appearance > Widgets from the left sidebar. Find Weather under Available Widgets and drag it into a sidebar or footer. Then visit the live page to set up the plugin.

Can I add more than one Weather?

Yes, absolutely! To clone an existing Weather, paste the exact same unique shortcode into another page or post. To create a new version, select Weather from the sidebar in your WP Dashboard and click Create New. You can then edit and save a new version, and paste the new unique shortcode into a page or post.

Will my users see the Edit button above Weather?

No! You only see the Edit button because you own the plugin. To temporarily hide it, click on your page and then type ‘p + down arrow’ (the letter p followed by the down arrow). You can show the icon again by typing ‘p + up-arrow’.

I can’t see the settings icon anymore, what happened?

Reviews

Good in general

I wouldve liked if they kept all editing and plugin creation in your wordpress dashboard rather redirecting you to their editor/platform. And having some more features would have really bumped up their rating. Overall its a good plugin, especially their customer support which are very responsive, quick, eager to solve your problem which I believe is one of the most important things to look at. Thumbs up and keep it guys

Wow! Sexy, Full-Featured & FREE!

I was looking for a free weather app to use in the Primary Widget Area of our community web-site. I looked at several, but settled on POWr Weather.

This widget is sexy, full-featured and easy to use, and it looks great on our web-site.

My only gripe is that app changes must be made on the developer’s web-site, which requires another login.

What a rellef, I am Weather Wise!

I tried several of the Weather plugins, some said they were compatible but then weren’t, I couldn’t find them on the Admin Menu, etc. Others involved codes, fine for refining the plugin, but not what I needed. With this I installed it, activated it, could see it in the Admin Menu, and I got it on the page in less than 5 minutes! Simple, clean, default is large size, but I did customize it a little with color. For a semi-newbie, this is great.

Finally

I spent a whole afternoon installing and testing weather apps for a client site. Wish I had tried this one first.
