FAQ

Can I use this plugin on a localhost installation?

Yes, but you may run into errors if you add a link or image to your post. Google will try to fetch your image/video, or resolve the link to your website, but if your localhost installation can’t be reached from the outside world, it won’t be able to do so.
The quick post feature will not work at all in that case, because it uses the URL and Featured Image of your post.

Why is/are my location(s) grayed out?

Not every Google My Business listing is allowed to use the “LocalPostAPI”. Especially chains of locations (businesses with 10+ locations) are blocked from using it. This means the plugin can’t post to them.

Reviews

you just killed our site with spammy black friday ads

Genius! I wondered why a clients site we were using this plugin on was suddenly very slow and getting 500 errors. So I logged in the backend and went to see if a backup was running - but I was redirected to a massive full page ad for your software. I thought "I have clicked the wrong link in the backend", so I click updraft again - paged loaded and 5 secs later, you plugin redirected me to your spam advert again! you have got my backend stuck an spammy advert loop. You have hijacked my website backend making it unsuable with malware style activities. Luckily I managed to click disable in the plugin list before your plugin redirected me. Such a shame as I had seen your offer in my email and was considering purchasing, but after this tactic and poor testing, I will be removing your spammy malware from our sites.

Totally dissatisfied.

This plugin created a lot of expectations for me. Unfortunately I haven't been able to make it work. 1.- They haven't sent the validation email 2.- There is no way to ask for email forwarding. 3.- It didn't work for me. and I get tired of waiting... it was installed weeks ago and it doesn't work.

Very helpful for GMB posting

This is a very handy tool for posting to GMB and it continues to get better. The developer is both responsive for support and receptive to suggestions. I imagine this plugin will become quite popular with people making use of Google's built-in mini sites.

Builders, top work!

Google my business boost my clients site into google's snackpack. First I made a blog in GMB, now it goes automatically via this super nice piece of software. Do you want to rank higher at local level and get the best results, then you really have to use this. Builders, top work!
