## Description

PixMapr Lite turns a static image into something visitors use. Draw polygon, circle,
or rectangle hotspots straight on the picture, give each one a title, text, an image,
or a link, and embed the result anywhere with the PixMapr block or the `[pixmapr]`
shortcode.

No coordinates to type, no external service, no account. Everything is drawn and
stored on your own site.

**Free, and enough for real work:**

 * **Unlimited interactive images** — no cap, no counter.
 * **Unlimited hotspots per image** – polygon, circle, and rectangle, traced on
   the image itself.
 * **Two layouts** – an info panel beside the image, or a tooltip that follows the
   hotspot.
 * **Click or hover** to open a hotspot.
 * **Info panels and links** – a title, rich text, and an image per hotspot, or
   send visitors to any URL.
 * **Five color themes** – Light, Dark, PixMapr, Suzette, and Autumn.
 * **Phone-friendly** – a tappable hotspot list replaces hard-to-hit shapes on small
   screens.
 * **Accessible** – keyboard navigation, ARIA labels, and screen reader announcements
   out of the box.
 * **Block and shortcode** – works in the block editor, the Classic Editor, Divi,
and any builder that renders shortcodes.
 * **Light on the page** – serve a smaller image size than the original and lazy-
   load images near the viewport.
 * **Your own themes** – five ready-made palettes, a theme builder for your own,
and alternate highlight styles per image.
 * **Translation-ready** and RTL-ready.

#### What could you make?

 * A floor plan where every room opens its photo and description.
 * A product photo where each part explains itself.
 * An annotated map, chart, or infographic.
 * A team photo that links each face to a profile.
 * A modern replacement for an HTML image map that works on phones.

#### PixMapr Pro

[PixMapr Pro](https://www.onlinestorekit.com/pixmapr/) is the full plugin, built
and used by the people who run the Online Store Kit stores:

 * Unlimited interactive images
 * Six layouts: left, right, top, bottom, lightbox, and tooltip
 * Numbered markers with a matching legend
 * Pan, zoom, and fullscreen for large maps and floor plans, with a separate phone
   layout
 * WooCommerce hotspots: tag products and sell from the picture, with add to cart
that works without a page reload
 * 20+ themes
 * Engagement counts – image views and hotspot opens, counts only, no personal data
 * Export and import images, themes, and settings as one file
 * Ten automatic snapshots of every image, and one-click duplicate
 * Elementor widget and Beaver Builder module
 * A year of signed automatic updates and email support

Pro and Lite share the same images, so upgrading is install-and-activate: nothing
to migrate, nothing to redraw. Lite can even stay active alongside Pro.

#### Privacy

PixMapr Lite does not call any external service and stores no visitor data. The
only outbound links are the ones in its own admin screens.

## FAQ

### What is the difference between Lite and Pro?

Lite builds unlimited interactive images with unlimited hotspots, two layouts (info
panel and tooltip), five themes, and hotspots that open an info panel or a link —
with no cap on any of it.

Pro is a bigger plugin: four more layouts including a lightbox, numbered markers
with a matching legend, pan/zoom/fullscreen, WooCommerce product hotspots, fifteen
more themes, engagement counts, export/import, snapshots, and the Elementor and
Beaver Builder integrations. [Compare the two](https://www.onlinestorekit.com/pixmapr/).

### Is there a limit on how many images I can make?

No. Build as many interactive images as you like, with as many hotspots on each
as you like.

### Do I need to uninstall Lite to use Pro?

No. Install Pro and Lite steps aside automatically. Both plugins use the same images,
so everything you drew is already there.

### Does it work in Elementor, Divi, or the Classic Editor?

The `[pixmapr]` shortcode works in any editor or builder that renders shortcodes,
including Elementor, Divi, and the Classic Editor. The block editor gets a dedicated
PixMapr block. A native Elementor widget and Beaver Builder module are part of Pro.

### Does it work on phones?

Yes. The info panel and tooltip layouts adapt to small screens, and a tappable hotspot
list can replace shapes that are too small to hit with a finger.

### Is it accessible?

Yes. Hotspots can be reached and opened with the keyboard, carry ARIA labels, and
info panels announce their content to screen readers.

### Where do I get help?

Post in the [support forum](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/pixmapr-lite/).
The [documentation](https://www.onlinestorekit.com/docs/pixmapr/) covers both editions.

### Where do I report a security issue?

Please use the [contact form](https://www.onlinestorekit.com/support/) rather than
the public forum, so it can be fixed before it is disclosed.
