Synchronization by itself never creates a Pinterest draft, publishes a Pin, or spends AI credits. #### How it works 1. Install and activate PinPinMe. Activation makes no external request. 2. Open **PinPinMe** in WordPress Admin and choose which public content types to enable. 3. Click **Connect PinPinMe**, sign in on pinpinme.com, and explicitly approve the site. 4. Let the initial catalog sync finish, then browse the imported source cards in PinPinMe. 5. Select content, create a draft, review it, and schedule or publish it from the PinPinMe service. #### WordPress and WooCommerce coverage One plugin supports both: * Published WordPress posts and pages. * Published parent WooCommerce products. * Simple and variable parent product records as returned by WooCommerce. * Up to ten public product images per product. * Product type, current price, regular price, sale price, store currency, SKU, stock status, managed stock quantity, and product categories. WooCommerce variations are not imported as separate cards. For variable products, the connector synchronizes the public parent product values returned by WooCommerce. #### External service This plugin connects to the [PinPinMe software-as-a-service platform](https://pinpinme.com). The service is required for account connection, catalog storage, Pinterest-ready draft creation, scheduling, publishing, and other PinPinMe functionality. When an administrator explicitly connects the plugin, it sends: * The public site URL and site name, an installation UUID, WordPress/plugin versions, and whether WooCommerce is active. * Enabled published, non-password-protected post/page titles, excerpts or cleaned text, public URLs, featured images, categories, tags, and publication dates. * Enabled published parent WooCommerce product names, descriptions, public URLs, prices, currency, SKU, stock state, categories, and public images. It does not synchronize drafts, private/password-protected content, orders, customers, coupons, customer or WordPress-user email fields, WordPress user records, passwords, or WooCommerce product variations as separate items. Data is sent only after an administrator approves the connection. Disconnecting requests connector revocation and removal of imported catalog data from PinPinMe while preserving Pinterest drafts already created there. Temporary authorization codes expire after ten minutes. Signed control requests expire after five minutes and are replay-protected. Upload the `pinpinme` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install it from the WordPress plugin directory. 2. Activate PinPinMe. Activation performs no external request. 3. Open **PinPinMe** in WordPress Admin. 4. Choose the public content types to synchronize and click **Connect PinPinMe**. 5. Sign in or create an account on pinpinme.com, approve the site, and return to WordPress. ## FAQ ### Does the plugin embed PinPinMe in WordPress? No. The settings page is native WordPress UI. **Open PinPinMe** opens the service in a separate browser tab. ### Does connecting cost anything? Connection, automatic synchronization, catalog cards, search, filters, and Ignore/ Restore are free. Creating a new draft uses one AI credit under the limits of your PinPinMe plan. ### Does synchronization publish to Pinterest automatically? No. Synchronization only keeps the enabled public source catalog up to date in PinPinMe. It never creates a draft, publishes a Pin, or spends AI credits by itself. Publishing happens only after you use the creative and publishing workflow in the PinPinMe service. ### What happens if WooCommerce is not installed? WordPress post and page synchronization continues normally. The PinPinMe WooCommerce view reports that WooCommerce is not detected. ### Which WooCommerce features are supported? The connector reads published parent products through WooCommerce public APIs. It synchronizes public product content, prices, currency, SKU, stock state, categories, and up to ten product images. It is compatible with High-Performance Order Storage( HPOS) and does not alter the cart or checkout flow. ### Are product variations imported separately? No. A variable product is synchronized as one parent product card using the public parent values returned by WooCommerce. Individual variations are not imported as separate cards. ### How quickly do content changes synchronize? When automatic sync is enabled, supported publish, product, image, price, and stock changes are added to the background outbox. Delivery timing depends on WordPress Cron and server traffic. A daily reconciliation also checks the enabled catalog. ### Are orders or customer records sent? No. Orders, customers, coupons, their email fields, private content, credentials, and WordPress user records are excluded. As with any content connector, text intentionally published inside an enabled post, page, or product is part of that public content. ### What happens when I deactivate the plugin? Background jobs stop, but connection details are preserved so activation can resume syncing.
