Includes English and Traditional Chinese, fixed Dark Mode, basic fades and horizontal/vertical slides, autoplay, gestures, typography and keyboard controls. PetFashion attribution is optional and OFF by default. Choose Settings > PetFashion Editorial Lightbox > Support PetFashion to enable the logo/link; you can disable it at any time without paying. Upgrading from older versions does not imply consent. Pro is distributed separately through Freemius. It adds custom logo overlays, translation editing and reusable gallery presets. Pro code and the Freemius SDK are not included in this Free package. Free does not require an account, license connection or external update service. ### Privacy and data No external service or telemetry is required. Settings and uploads stay in WordPress. Remote media/font URLs are requested only when configured by the site administrator. Deactivation and deletion preserve settings and media. ### Limits Initial test release. Direct MP4/WebM only; YouTube/Vimeo, page-builder and WooCommerce- specific integrations are not included. No original PETFASHION photos are included. ### Development The source/ directory contains the Free viewer React source and reproducible build configuration. Run npm ci and npm run build there. assets/build/editorial-lightbox.js is an unminified, readable JavaScript bundle, including the viewer and its dependencies. PHP source is included. The development project uses React 19.2, Vite 6.4 and Phosphor Icons 2.1; no remote executable code is loaded. English and Traditional Chinese catalogs are in includes/catalogs.json. Licenses for bundled dependencies are in THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt. ### Earlier changes = 0.3.0 = Add dark/light/automatic appearance, visitor switching and device/scheduled defaults. Follow the current frontend language and the admin user’s language separately. Include English and Traditional Chinese catalogs, page-language detection and translation adapters, and standard gettext/custom filters for other languages. Visitor appearance is stored only in the current browser; it does not sync across devices. #### 0.2.0 Add loop direction, idle interface hiding and wake, mobile toolbar, pinch/pan/double- tap gestures, intrinsic poster sizing and keyboard-native Space activation. Preserve existing WordPress settings and integrations. #### 0.1.0 Independent WordPress port of the September 7, 2026 viewer, including photo-edge transitions, segmented cube, linked insets, custom fonts, state colors and video- control settings. ## Installation Upload the ZIP through Plugins > Add Plugin, activate it, then open Settings > PetFashion Editorial Lightbox. Native Image and Gallery blocks use the viewer. Use [editorial_lightbox ids=”12,34″ columns=”3″] for an explicit gallery. Add elb-disable to a block’s CSS classes to exclude it. Web-page image links remain links.
