# PerPost Contact

## Description

PerPost Contact is a per-post contact-routing plugin. Instead of sending every visitor
to one site-wide destination, each post can have its own phone and WhatsApp number.
This helps directories, service marketplaces, branch listings, team profiles, and
multi-provider websites connect visitors directly with the worker, provider, technician,
branch, or contact person represented by that post.

The plugin displays responsive floating WhatsApp and call buttons on individual 
posts. Buttons can also be hidden on selected posts or inserted explicitly with 
a shortcode.

Features include:

 * A separate phone number for each post.
 * Independent position, size, and label settings for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
 * Left or right placement with top, middle, or bottom vertical alignment.
 * Built-in icons or custom images from the WordPress Media Library.
 * Circle, pill, rounded, and square button styles.
 * Icon-only or icon-and-label display modes.
 * An option to hide the buttons on individual posts.

The buttons are added automatically to published posts that have a phone number.
You can also place the buttons with a shortcode:

    ```
    [perpost_contact]
    ```

Use a specific international phone number, without a plus sign or spaces:

    ```
    [perpost_contact phone="9665xxxxxxxx"]
    ```

## Installation

 1. Upload the `perpost-contact` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the ZIP
    from Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
 2. Activate PerPost Contact from the Plugins screen.
 3. Open a post and enter an 8-to-15-digit phone number, including the country code,
    in the PerPost Contact details box.
 4. Go to Settings > PerPost Contact to configure labels, colors, icons, positioning,
    and responsive behavior.

## FAQ

### What phone-number format should I use?

Enter 8 to 15 digits including the country code, without `+`, spaces, or punctuation.
For example: `9665xxxxxxxx`.

### Where do the buttons appear automatically?

They appear on single posts that have a valid phone number, unless you select the
option to hide them for that post.

### Can I display the buttons on a page or template?

Yes. Add `[perpost_contact phone="9665xxxxxxxx"]` to any shortcode-enabled content.
You can also use `[perpost_contact id="123"]` to use the phone number saved for 
post 123.

### Does the plugin collect or send visitor data?

The plugin does not track visitors or send data automatically. Clicking the WhatsApp
button opens `wa.me`, and clicking the call button asks the visitor’s device to 
start a phone call.

### What happens when I delete the plugin?

WordPress removes the plugin settings and the per-post data created by PerPost Contact.
