Whether you’re offering vouchers, eGift cards, or prepaid cards, the plugin enhances your promotional capabilities by enabling you to seamlessly accept and validate PerkExtra codes at checkout, rewarding your customers with ease. ### External services This plugin connects to the PerkExtra server via API to validate the customer’s eVoucher, eGift Cards and Prepaid Card code. It’s needed to check whether the code exists, used, expired and meets the required minimum spending (if any). API call runs when the user redeems the code and when the order is placed. It sends the following data: – the code that the customer entered – the webshop’s site url (the return value of [get_site_url()](https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_site_url/) function) – the subtotal of products in customer’s cart Also if any changes or new rules are introduced by the business in the admin interface, the PerkExtra server will be notified with email to ensure that all updates remain consistent with the terms and conditions set for reward tokens, eGift cards, and prepaid cards.
