## Description

Accept Credit/Debit Card, GCash, GrabPay, Maya, QR Ph, ShopeePay, BillEase, Google
Pay, BPI Online, UBP Online, BDO (via Brankas), Landbank (via Brankas), Metrobank(
via Brankas), RCBC (via Brankas), and more — all directly on your store with the
PayMongo Hosted Checkout Plugin for WooCommerce.

Unlike previous integrations that required separate plugins for each payment method,
the Hosted Checkout Plugin lets you manage every supported payment method in one
place — with the flexibility to enable only the ones you want to offer.

**Notes**
 * PayMongo API **only** supports the **PHP (Philippine Peso)** currency
at the moment. Prices for your shop should be configured to PHP for the plugin to
work. * PayMongo API can process a minimum amount of **₱1.00** per transaction,
except for select payment methods (e.g. BDO, minimum **₱100.00**) * Some WordPress
themes/plugins may not be compatible with this plugin. To isolate which theme/plugin,
you may follow [this guide](https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#plugin-and-theme-conflicts).
Once isolated, you may contact PayMongo Support at support@paymongo.com.

### External services

This plugin relies on PayMongo as a third-party payment gateway to securely process
transactions on your WooCommerce store.

What the service is and what it is used for:
 PayMongo is a financial technology
company that provides payment processing solutions. This plugin integrates directly
with the PayMongo API (using v1 and v2 endpoints) to create secure hosted checkout
sessions, retrieve available payment methods for your account, register webhook
events, and process order refunds.

What data is sent and when:
When a customer selects PayMongo at checkout and clicks“
Place order”, the plugin sends the following data to PayMongo’s servers to initialize
the payment session: * Order details (line items, quantities, totals, currency,
taxes, shipping fees, and any fees added to the order) * Product details shown on
the hosted checkout (item names and, when available, item descriptions and image
URLs) * Customer billing information (name, email address, phone number, and billing
address) * Store/session metadata (WooCommerce Order ID, store name, plugin version,
logged-in WooCommerce customer ID if available, the plugin agent identifier, and
the success/cancel return URLs)

Under which conditions:
Data is transmitted to PayMongo under the following conditions:
1. During Checkout: When a customer places an order using PayMongo as their payment
method. 2. During Order Management: When a store administrator manually issues a
refund or cancels an order from the WooCommerce dashboard, the plugin contacts PayMongo
to sync the refund or expire the checkout session. 3. During Settings Configuration:
When verifying your API keys or registering webhook URLs in the plugin settings.
4. In the background (WP-Cron): When refreshing cached merchant capabilities / available
payment methods (typically triggered by prior checkout or admin activity).

No credit card numbers or sensitive payment details are ever entered into or stored
on your WordPress site. All payment processing occurs securely on PayMongo’s hosted
checkout page.

Optional Telemetry:
This plugin also includes optional usage telemetry powered
by PostHog (https://posthog.com/). By default, all tracking is completely disabled.
If you explicitly opt-in via the plugin settings, the plugin will capture payment
resolution analytics when PayMongo webhooks are received to help us improve the
plugin. The data sent includes a base64-encoded store URL identifier, payment ID,
amount, payment method, and whether sandbox mode is enabled. No customer data or
personally identifiable information (PII) is sent to PostHog.

policies:

#### One Plugin, All Your Payment Methods

The PayMongo Hosted Checkout Plugin extends WooCommerce, letting you accept payments
through [PayMongo’s Payment API](https://developers.paymongo.com/) — without needing
to install and configure a separate plugin for every payment method.
