Two-factor authentication for your blog. Stop hackers before they get into your administration section!

  1. If not installing through WordPress's "search for plugins", upload the extracted plugin folder to the 'wp-content/plugins' folder.
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
  3. Visit http://www.panic-press.com and sign up for an account.
  4. Confirm your email address and cell phone number.
  5. Confirm your payment details.
  6. Copy your API key from the PanicPress "Plugin Installation" page (https://www.panic-press.dev/account/installation).
  7. Go to your blog's "General Settings" page, and paste your API key in the appropriate spot.
  8. Identify your device and wait for your text message.
  9. Reply to that text message with "yes" (no quotes), and receive access!
