The lazy and the productive will love it : all admin links available in a neat horizontal CSS driven drop down menu. No need to click on “Manage” then “Pages” to edit pages. And plenty more space on your screen.
For documentation, examples and screenshots, please refer to the official plugin page for Admin Drop Down Menu. There is also an API for plugin coders (give your plugin its own special icon!).

Does exactly what it promises to do !
I install Ozh’ Admin Drop Down Menu on every single site we manage. It gives me much more real estate on the screen for other things, and after a very short while you will find it much more intuitive than the default menu. In fact, whenever I have to use a site with the default left sidebar menu now, I find it really annoying!
The plugin is great except that “Ohz” forces an obnoxious advertisement at the bottom of EVERY page of the admin area, including for all users, including for your clients, and the advertisement tends to print on top of other items; it isn’t even placed properly so that it looks good. When I was the only admin I could tolerate it, but now that my site has other users and even clients, this plugin makes me look like a fool so I just deactivated it and deleted it.
If Ohz had a little less ego he might put a checkbox to remove his blatant self-promotion. Sure, he has a right to do whatever he wants with his free plugin, but if Ohz wants to promote himself then just make a plugin called “I’m Super Ohz” and let this plugin alone.
I was playing around with CSS to figure out how to make the bar “sticky”. This is a start!
1) add the following line to #wpwrap
2) change the following to #ozhmenu_wrap
If you have more admin options than can fit on one line, the top # will have to be adjusted. Anyone care to chime in? Go for it!
If only it would hover when you scroll down so it is always available, that would be a winner.
