Show your broker photo, NMLS license number, and phone number in the chat header. Answer visitor mortgage questions instantly using your own Q&A library. No account required. No third-party chat service. **Free features:** * Your photo, name, and title in the chat header * NMLS license number with auto-prefix (shows as NMLS #123456) * Clickable phone number in the chat header * Unlimited custom Q&A pairs, no limit * 10 built-in mortgage Q&A defaults, always active * Quick-tap question chips (up to 4 shown) * Popup chat bubble with configurable delay * Custom accent color * Widget position: bottom right or bottom left * Mobile full-screen layout with close button * Page exclusion list * Optional “Powered by OurNetHelps” credit, disabled by default. Enable it from General settings if you would like to support the plugin. * Lightweight, self-contained. No third-party JavaScript libraries, fonts, or chat services required. **How it works:** Visitors open the chat and see your photo, name, NMLS, and phone number immediately. They can tap one of the quick question chips or type their own question. The plugin searches your custom Q&A first, then falls back to the 10 built-in mortgage questions. The + Add Q&A Pair button is visible at the bottom. ## Installation 1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install via Plugins > Add New. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Go to Settings > Mortgage Q&A to configure your broker profile and Q&A pairs. ## FAQ ### Is this really free with no limits? Yes. There are no limits on Q&A pairs, no expiry, and no nag screens. All core features are free. ### Does it require an external chat service? No. The chat functionality runs locally in the visitor’s browser and does not require a remote chat service or API. The plugin does not load external JavaScript libraries or web fonts. ### Does it work with my theme? The plugin hooks into wp_footer and works with properly built WordPress themes. If your theme includes the standard footer hook, the plugin works. ### What happens when visitors ask a question I have not added? 10 built-in mortgage questions cover the most common visitor questions: rates, pre- approval, down payment, credit score, loan types, closing costs, refinancing, first- time buyers, and how to contact you. If neither your custom Q&A nor the built-in answers match, a fallback message with your email and contact page link appears automatically. ### Can I hide the widget on specific pages? Yes. The General settings tab has an Exclude From Pages field. Enter one URL path per line. ### Is this only for mortgage brokers? It was built specifically for independent US mortgage brokers. The NMLS field, the built-in Q&A library, and the trust signals in the header are all designed for that audience. ### How is this different from generic chat plugins? Many generic chat platforms rely on an external service or account. OurNetHelps Mortgage Q&A Assistant works directly inside WordPress without requiring a separate chat service.
