Sent only when an administrator or editor triggers an AI button. * When: only on explicit user action in wp-admin. Not on every frontend page view. OptiRank does not phone home to the plugin author’s servers. There is no telemetry or analytics of your admin usage. ### Privacy OptiRank does not collect analytics or personal data by default and does not track wp-admin usage. Optional features that contact external services (OpenRouter, IndexNow, Google OAuth, broken-link checks) are documented under “External services”. IndexNow and AI are disabled until you enable them. Upload the `optirank` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install the ZIP via Plugins Add New Upload Plugin. 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu. 3. Open OptiRank in the admin menu and complete the Setup Wizard (optional). 4. Under Content AI, enable AI and enter your OpenRouter API key to unlock the AI Assistant and full blog post writer. No terminal, Node.js, or Composer is required. ## FAQ ### Is OptiRank free? Yes. All core SEO features are free. AI features use your own OpenRouter API key; usage is billed by OpenRouter according to their pricing. ### Does the SEO score affect Google rankings? No. The score is OptiRank’s own analysis of common on-page factors. It is not an official Google ranking score. ### Can the plugin write full blog posts? Yes. After you connect an OpenRouter API key, open a post or page, go to the AI Assistant tab, and use **Write full blog post**. Provide a topic or brief; the AI returns a structured draft you can edit before publishing. ### How do I configure OpenRouter? 1. Create an account at openrouter.ai 2. Generate an API key 3. In WordPress go to OptiRank Content AI 4. Enable AI, paste the key, choose a model, and save ### Will it conflict with other SEO plugins? Running multiple SEO plugins that output titles, meta, and schema is not recommended. Deactivate other SEO plugins before using OptiRank. ### Does it work with WooCommerce? Yes. When WooCommerce is active, product schema is enhanced. Product titles, descriptions, and robots can be managed via the standard meta box. ### Is data removed on uninstall? Only if you enable “Remove data on uninstall” under General settings.
