On The Road


Going traveling? On The Road allows you to geolocalize your posts, group them into journeys, and add any number of customizable maps – of a single location or an entire journey – anywhere on your site.

Questions or feature requests:


  • Adding a map to a post or page is as easy as adding an image
  • Geolocalize a post with Google Places, or press a button to get your current location
  • Show your readers where you are and where you have been


  1. Upload the whole unzipped folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
  3. Set your distance unit – kilometer or mile – under Settings->General, all the way at the bottom of the page
