## Installation

 1. Upload the `obydullah-blood-bank-manager` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` 
    directory, or install the plugin zip through the WordPress admin.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Go to the new ‘Blood Bank Management’ menu in the admin sidebar.
 4. Place the shortcodes on your pages to start collecting donor registrations and 
    blood requests.

## FAQ

### Will existing data be preserved when updating?

Yes. Tables are created with `dbDelta()` on activation, which is safe to run again.
Donors, requests, blood banks, campaigns, and settings are left untouched, and later
plugin releases that add columns or indexes are applied to the existing tables automatically.

Installations that predate the `obdm` prefix rename are not upgraded automatically.
Back up your database first, then rename the old `bdm_` tables and `bdm_` option
names to their `obdm_` equivalents.

### Can I customize the emails sent to donors?

Yes. Notification message templates can be edited under Settings > Email notifications.
