  1. Upload the entire folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Check Status URL Link (It’s next to the plugin deactivate button, if you missed the notice)

Why does the plugin need write access to the plugin directory?

The plugin installs an opensource script named “sysinfo”. To make sure that no one simply accesses the script without your knowing that, the directory is renamed individually during installation.
