Free features include: * Product search with live name and SKU suggestions. * Unlimited WooCommerce product categories with parent/child visibility and custom ordering. * Unlimited Color / Finish values with configurable swatches and custom ordering. * Independent minimum and maximum price filtering using the store currency and price precision. * WooCommerce stock-status filtering. * WooCommerce customer-rating filtering. * Unlimited basic checkbox filters from global WooCommerce product attributes. * Vertical and horizontal desktop layouts. * Responsive tablet and mobile filter drawer with automatic sticky-header offset handling. * Product sorting by default order, name, and price. * Configurable products per load with AJAX Load More pagination. * Filter-module drag ordering. * Theme-friendly filter design controls. * Settings backup/restore, safe reset tools, system information, and product-index diagnostics. * A self-contained basic product results grid with Add to Cart and View Product actions where appropriate. * An optional Niklord Product Filters product/facet index for faster filtered queries on larger catalogues. Niklord Product Filters requires WooCommerce. The Free plugin does not impose artificial limits on the number of Category, Color / Finish, or basic WooCommerce attribute values that can be enabled. The Free plugin contains its complete free feature set and exposes extension hooks so separately installed add-ons can provide additional modules. ### Optional Pro Add-on Niklord Product Filters Free is complete and works independently. A separately distributed Niklord Product Filters Pro add-on is planned for stores that need more advanced catalog tools. Planned Pro modules include advanced Dimensions, dedicated Brand tooling, a Custom Filter Builder, advanced Product Card controls, Analytics, and additional advanced store features. Niklord Product Filters Pro will be distributed separately and is not required to use the Free plugin. ## Installation 1. Install and activate WooCommerce. 2. Install Niklord Product Filters through Plugins > Add New, or upload the plugin ZIP. 3. Activate Niklord Product Filters. 4. Open Niklord Product Filters in the WordPress admin and configure the filters you want to use. 5. Copy the `[niklord_product_filters]` shortcode from the General settings panel. 6. Add the shortcode to the page where the product filter and results should appear. 7. For larger catalogues, optionally build the Product Index from the General settings panel. ## FAQ ### Does the plugin require WooCommerce? Yes. Niklord Product Filters filters WooCommerce products and uses WooCommerce catalogue data. ### Is the Free version limited to a fixed number of categories or Color / Finish values? No. You can enable any number of available Category and Color / Finish values in the Free plugin. ### Can I filter global WooCommerce attributes? Yes. Basic checkbox filters can be enabled for any supported global WooCommerce attribute detected by Niklord Product Filters. A normal global attribute named Brand is treated like any other basic attribute. ### Can I control how many products load at a time? Yes. The General settings provide 6, 12, 16, 24, or 30 products per load. ### Does the plugin work on mobile? Yes. Tablet and mobile layouts use a responsive filter drawer and Filter / Sort toolbar. The toolbar dynamically accounts for common fixed and sticky site headers. ### Does Niklord Product Filters modify WooCommerce products? No. The plugin reads WooCommerce catalogue data and stores only its own settings, caches, and optional search/filter index tables. ### What happens when I delete the plugin? The uninstall routine removes settings and index tables owned by Niklord Product Filters Free. Settings belonging to separately installed add-ons are not owned or removed by the Free plugin. ### Does Niklord Product Filters work with Elementor? Yes.
