## Description

**Nexura Upload Limits Manager – Increase Maximum Upload File Size** is the ultimate
lightweight utility plugin that enables website administrators to easily bypass
default server upload restrictions. Increase your WordPress **maximum file upload
size**, **PHP memory limit**, and **maximum execution time** directly from your
admin dashboard — without touching complex server configuration files manually.

Whether you are uploading large media files, HD videos, Elementor template kits,
WooCommerce product CSVs, All-in-One WP Migration backups, zip archives, themes,
or plugins, this plugin automatically optimizes your `.htaccess`, `.user.ini`, and`
php.ini` directives to ensure smooth, error-free uploads every time.

> 💡 **Perfect for:** bloggers, photographers, developers, WooCommerce store owners,
> LMS site admins, and anyone who regularly uploads large files to WordPress.

### 🚀 Key Features

 * **Increase Max Upload File Size:** Set custom maximum file upload limits (e.g.,
   64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 5GB+) with a single click.
 * **Fix Upload Timeout Errors:** Prevent “Maximum execution time exceeded” errors
by extending `max_execution_time` directly from the admin panel.
 * **Fix PHP Memory Limit Errors:** Resolve “Allowed memory size of bytes exhausted”
errors during high-resolution image uploads or large CSV/data imports.
 * **Role-Based Upload Limits:** Assign custom upload size restrictions based on
WordPress user roles — Administrator, Editor, Author, and Contributor.
 * **Real-Time Disk Storage Analytics:** Visual chart dashboard displaying live
server storage usage breakdown for Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, and Archives.
 * **Server Health & Directive Audit:** Instantly review live server PHP configurations
   including `upload_max_filesize`, `post_max_size`, `memory_limit`, and `max_execution_time`.
 * **Multi-Method PHP Override:** Intelligently applies limits via `.htaccess`, `.
user.ini`, `php.ini`, and PHP runtime filters — maximizing compatibility across
   all hosting environments.
 * **100% Lightweight & Secure:** Zero bloat, no external HTTP calls, fast admin
execution, and fully compliant with WordPress coding and security standards.
 * **WordPress 7.0.2 Compatible:** Tested and verified on the latest WordPress releases
   for rock-solid reliability.

## FAQ

### How does this plugin increase the WordPress upload limit?

The plugin dynamically writes and updates PHP server directives in `.htaccess`, `.
user.ini`, and `php.ini` files and also applies PHP runtime filters (`wp_handle_upload`,`
upload_size_limit`) to increase `upload_max_filesize` and `post_max_size`. It uses
a multi-method approach to ensure the limits are applied on virtually any hosting
environment.

### What is the maximum upload file size I can set?

There is no hard limit set by this plugin. You can set values such as 64MB, 128MB,
256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, or even 5GB+. However, your actual maximum is ultimately
determined by your hosting provider’s server-level caps.

### What if my hosting provider blocks php.ini or .htaccess overrides?

Some managed WordPress hosts (e.g., WP Engine, Kinsta, Flywheel) enforce strict
server-level caps that cannot be overridden by plugins. If the settings do not apply
automatically, please contact your hosting provider and request them to increase
your server-level PHP limits (`upload_max_filesize`, `post_max_size`, `memory_limit`).

### Will this plugin slow down my website?

Absolutely not. The plugin is strictly optimized to run **only within the WordPress
admin panel**. It has zero impact on your front-end website speed or performance
scores (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, etc.).

### Is this plugin compatible with WooCommerce, Elementor, Divi, and WPML?

Yes. The plugin is fully compatible with popular plugins including WooCommerce,
Elementor, Divi, WPML, All-in-One WP Migration, UpdraftPlus, and any other plugin
that relies on WordPress’s native upload handling.

### Does this plugin support WordPress Multisite?

Single-site installations are fully supported and tested. Multisite support is planned
for a future release.

### Is this plugin GDPR compliant?

Yes. This plugin does not collect, process, or transmit any personally identifiable
information (PII). It is fully GDPR compliant.

### How do I check my current upload limit after installing the plugin?

After activating the plugin, go to **Upload Manager Server Status** in your WordPress
admin panel. You will see a live audit of all current PHP directives including `
upload_max_filesize`, `post_max_size`, `memory_limit`, and `max_execution_time`.

### Does the plugin work on shared hosting?

Yes! The plugin is specifically designed to work with shared hosting environments
like Hostinger, Bluehost, SiteGround, NameCheap, GoDaddy, and DreamHost by using
multiple override methods automatically.

### What happens when I uninstall the plugin?

When the plugin is uninstalled, it cleanly removes all custom entries it added to`.
htaccess` and `.user.ini` files, restoring them to their previous state. No database
pollution or orphaned settings are left behind.
