## Description

News Importer for Siteler TV allows WordPress site owners to automatically import
public news articles directly from Siteler TV via the official WordPress REST API.

Key features include:
 * Automated scheduled fetching using WordPress Cron. * Category
mapping and automatic creation of missing categories. * Prevention of duplicate 
content using unique identifiers. * Appends official source attribution backlink.

### External Services

This plugin connects to an external service to fetch public news data:
 * **Service**:
Siteler TV REST API (https://www.siteler.tv.tr/wp-json/wp/v2/posts) * **Purpose**:
Fetches the latest published news articles, featured images, and category terms 
to publish them on your WordPress site. * **Data Sent**: No personal or sensitive
user data is transmitted to Siteler TV. The plugin only performs GET requests to
retrieve publicly available news articles. * **Terms of Service**: https://www.siteler.
tv.tr/ * **Privacy Policy**: https://www.siteler.tv.tr/

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/siteler-tv-haber-botu` directory,
    or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
 3. Navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Siteler TV Bot’ to configure your default category and
    schedule.

### Does this plugin import duplicate news?

No, the plugin checks remote post IDs to prevent importing the same article twice.
