Enable the catalog checkbox in the page editor: selected published pages appear automatically, newest first. There is no need to create categories, tags, child pages or a custom post type. The plugin creates a catalog page on activation, or you can add `[neona_page_catalog]` to an existing page. Features: * One checkbox in the standard page editor. * Automatic catalog page creation on first activation. * The `[neona_page_catalog]` shortcode for displaying the catalog on a page. * Responsive, centered cards with a featured image, title and link button. * Featured images retain their original aspect ratio without cropping. * One configurable button label shared by all cards. * Up to four cards per row, with centered incomplete rows. * A settings screen under Settings and a direct Settings link in the plugin list. * Uses ordinary pages and their existing URLs. The plugin does not require a store plugin or a specific theme. Only published pages with the catalog checkbox enabled are listed; the configured catalog page itself is excluded. The interface currently uses Russian source strings. Catalog titles and button labels can be changed in WordPress. The catalog lists all matching pages without pagination and is intended for small and medium page collections. ### Privacy The plugin does not use external services, send telemetry or load external assets. Catalog settings and page marks are stored in your site’s WordPress database. ## Installation 1. Upload and activate Neona Page Catalog through Plugins > Add Plugin. 2. On activation, the plugin creates an ordinary published page containing `[neona_page_catalog]`. 3. Open a page you want to include and enable the catalog checkbox in its editor. 4. Save or update that page. 5. Open Settings > Neona Page Catalog to choose the main catalog page or change the shared button label. 6. If you select an existing page, add `[neona_page_catalog]` to its content yourself. ## FAQ ### Can I use an existing catalog page? Yes. Select the page in the settings and add `[neona_page_catalog]` to its content. ### Do I need categories or tags? No. The plugin stores a separate catalog checkbox for each page. ### What if a page has no featured image? It is still displayed with its title and button. ### Are drafts or private pages shown? No. The catalog query includes only published pages with the catalog checkbox enabled. Password-protected published pages may appear with their title and featured image; WordPress still protects their page content with the password. ### Does deactivation or deletion remove my pages? No. The plugin does not delete your pages, page marks or settings on deactivation or deletion. The shortcode will stop rendering while the plugin is inactive. ### Can I upgrade from the separately distributed 1.1.6 ZIP? Version 1.1.7 retains the same plugin folder, shortcode, option names and page metadata keys. The catalog page ID was preserved in a local update test from 1.1.6. Code, nonce and CSS prefixes have changed; custom code or styles that target the old NPC/ npc identifiers may need adjustment.
