Features: * Automatically fetches data from your Last.fm account. * Saves the top 5 artists, tracks, and albums from the previous month. * Displays data using a customizable shortcode. * Adds an admin dashboard page with easy configuration. * Includes clickable links to Last.fm pages for each item. ### External services This plugin connects to the Last.fm API in order to retrieve recent track data from a specific user account. It is required for the plugin’s functionality of generating and displaying listening statistics. Data sent: – The Last.fm username entered by the site administrator. – The Last. fm API key entered by the site administrator. Data received: – Recent tracks information associated with the provided Last.fm account. No other personal data is sent or stored by this plugin. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress. 3. Go to “Last.fm Monthly” in the WordPress admin sidebar. 4. Enter your Last.fm username and API key. 5. Use the shortcode in your posts/pages to display data for a specific month: 6. You just need a valid Last.fm username and a registered API key. ### How often does the plugin fetch data? Once a month, it fetches the stats for the _previous_ month automatically. ### Why don’t my stats update immediately? Automatic updates run **monthly**. If you want to refresh earlier, use the **Manual Data Collection** option on the settings page. ### Is the data saved or fetched live? The plugin stores the data in the database for performance reasons. ### Why can’t I see data for the current month? The plugin collects data **at the turn of each month**. For example, statistics for **August** will only be available starting from **September**.
