Site administrators can submit prompts from the WordPress admin area and generate Elementor widgets or WPBakery add-ons through the same account library and generation pipeline used by the Moduify application. New connector-generated add-ons are stored in the connected account’s shared Moduify Generated Items library. The WordPress.org connector displays item metadata and design previews, but it does not download, install, or execute generated add-on code. #### External service This plugin connects to the Moduify service to generate Elementor widgets and WPBakery add-ons. A Moduify account and connector API key are required. When you save the connection, the plugin sends the site URL, site name, WordPress version, PHP version, and plugin version to Moduify so the service can register and verify the connected site. When you generate an add-on, the plugin sends the prompt, selected builder, component name, and connected site ID to Moduify. Moduify saves the generated add-on in the same Generated Items history used by the web application. After generation, the plugin renders the sanitized static preview in the administrator’s browser, captures a 590 by 300 pixel JPEG, and sends that image to Moduify so the same thumbnail is available in the shared library. The connector reads library metadata and static preview images from Moduify; preview scripts and generated PHP are not returned to or executed by this plugin. The connector library includes a link to the Moduify web application. Add-on downloads require the user to sign in to Moduify and take place on the Moduify website. This plugin does not retrieve, install, activate, or update downloaded add-ons. Open Moduify > Connection in the WordPress admin. 4. Paste a connector API key from your Moduify dashboard and save the connection. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin add a shortcode or block? No. The connector is admin-only and does not register a shortcode or Gutenberg block. ### Does this plugin download, install, or execute generated add-on code? No. Generation runs as a documented Moduify service, and this WordPress.org connector only displays job results, library metadata, and static preview images. It does not retrieve generated PHP or preview JavaScript, write generated plugins, or activate generated add-ons. ### How do I download an add-on? Open the connector Library and select “Open Moduify Library.” Sign in to Moduify, choose an add-on, and download it from the Moduify website. Installation is a separate manual action performed by the site administrator. ### Do I need a Moduify account? Yes.
