The free plugin checks locally for signals related to: * WooCommerce and HTTPS availability * search visibility and permalinks * privacy, terms and returns pages * plugin updates and debug exposure * up to 25 products for images, prices and description completeness * homepage availability and common security headers Every function included in this WordPress.org plugin is free and remains available without payment. The plugin does not expire, impose a scan quota or require registration. Merqivio separately offers a commercial **Shop Check Pro add-on** on merqivio.com. The add-on is not included in this WordPress.org plugin. It can add daily scans, a larger product sample, scan history, change detection, email alerts and current Fix Plans. The free plugin remains fully usable without it. The checks identify technical signals and possible attention areas. They do not guarantee legal compliance, security or accessibility conformance and are not individual legal advice. ### External services The plugin does not contact a Merqivio or third-party service during installation, activation, scanning or normal use. The homepage availability check uses the WordPress HTTP API to request the website’s own public homepage. This loopback request is used to inspect the HTTP response and security headers and does not send shop data to Merqivio. The Shop Check Pro link opens merqivio.com only after an administrator deliberately selects it. Every function and check contained in this plugin is available without a licence or payment. ### Is shop data sent to Merqivio? No. The free scan runs locally in WordPress. It only requests the website’s own public homepage for availability and response-header checks. ### Is the commercial add-on required?
