Your visitors get a chat bubble; your team answers from the Mensatek panel, where the same inbox also holds WhatsApp, SMS, RCS and email conversations. #### What it does * **Installs in a minute.** Paste the token of your site and the chat appears. No theme editing, no snippets. * **Knows who is talking.** If the visitor is logged in to your WordPress, the agent sees their name and email instead of an anonymous visitor. * **Verified identity.** With the identification secret, the plugin signs that identity on your own server (HMAC), so the agent sees a visitor whose identity the site vouches for, not one who merely claims it. The secret never reaches the browser. * **WooCommerce customers in context.** The agent also sees how many orders the customer has placed and how much they have spent, without leaving the conversation. * **Hide it from yourself.** An option keeps the chat out of the way while you browse as an administrator. The plugin is free. It needs a Mensatek account with the live chat service enabled: https://www.mensatek.com/chat-en-vivo.php Please note: the plugin settings screen is in Spanish, as is the Mensatek panel. ### External services This plugin displays the Mensatek live chat, which is an external service, so your visitors’ browsers load a file from our servers. * **Where to:** `https://chat.mensatek.com/widget.min.js`, the chat loader. It is requested on every page where the chat is active. * **What is sent:** the site token you configure. If the visitor is logged in to your WordPress and you enable identification, their name, email address and an identifier are sent too; with the secret configured, signed with HMAC so that the agent knows they are genuine. With WooCommerce, the number of orders and the amount spent by the customer can also be sent, so the agent sees them while answering. Install and activate the plugin (Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin). 2. Go to **Settings > Mensatek Chat**. 3. Paste the token of your site. You will find it in your Mensatek panel, under Chat en VIVO > Mis Sitios. 4. Optional: paste the identification secret from the same screen, so that logged- in users reach your agents as a verified identity. ## FAQ ### Do I need a Mensatek account? Yes. The plugin shows the chat; the conversations, the agents and the history live in your Mensatek account. ### Does it work without WooCommerce? Yes. WooCommerce only adds the order count and the amount spent to the visitor card. ### What is the identification secret for? Without it, the agent sees the name and email your site sends, and has to take them at face value. With it, your server signs that data, and the panel marks the visitor as verified by the site. ### Will visitors see the chat while I am logged in as an administrator? Only if you want to. There is an option to hide the chat for administrators; visitors always see it. ### What happens if I uninstall the plugin? The settings are removed from your WordPress.
