Make progress.** Mant Accessibility brings accessibility scanning into your WordPress dashboard. Check your homepage, a selection of pages, or all published content, then use the findings to decide what to improve next. The scanner checks pages as they render in the browser, combining axe-core with additional accessibility rules. It helps identify common barriers such as missing image alternative text, heading structure problems, low color contrast, missing form labels, and keyboard accessibility concerns. Built for site owners, content editors, and developers who want a practical starting point without leaving WordPress. #### What you can do * **Choose your scan scope.** Scan your homepage, multiple selected pages, or all published content. Keep the browser tab open while the scan runs. * **See the overall picture.** Review an accessibility score, issue counts, and severity summaries in the dashboard. * **Understand the findings.** Review affected pages, explanations, element selectors, and suggested fixes. Filter the issue list to focus your work. * **Inspect pages in context.** Use administrator-only front-end scan tools and the page overlay to investigate findings on the page itself. * **Enable focused improvements.** Opt in to helpers for skip links, keyboard focus outlines, mobile zoom, and selected markup or label issues. * **Check color combinations.** Use the built-in contrast tester when choosing text and background colors. #### A simple workflow 1. Choose the pages you want to check and start a scan. 2. Review the dashboard and open the issues list. 3. Use the guidance to make changes in your content, theme, or other plugins. 4. Scan again and combine the results with keyboard, screen reader, and other manual testing. The issue list provides findings and guidance; it does not automatically rewrite your content. Front-end improvements are optional and should be tested with your theme. #### Accessibility is an ongoing process Automated testing can identify some accessibility problems, not all of them. A high score or an empty issue list is not a certification of WCAG conformance. In WordPress, go to **Plugins > Add New Plugin**, search for **Mant Accessibility**, and install it. Alternatively, upload the plugin ZIP through the same screen. 2. Activate the plugin and open **Mant Accessibility** in the admin menu. 3. Open the scanner and choose your homepage, selected pages, or all published content. 4. Start the scan and keep the browser tab open until it finishes. 5. Review your findings and enable any optional improvements you want to test in Settings. ## FAQ ### Does this replace a manual accessibility audit? No. Automated checks are a useful starting point, but they cannot assess every accessibility requirement. Test with a keyboard and assistive technologies, and arrange manual review where needed. The dashboard score is not a WCAG certification. ### Can I scan more than one page? Yes. Choose your homepage, multiple selected pages, or all published content. The free plugin does not impose a page quota. Larger sites take longer to scan, and the browser tab must remain open. ### Does the plugin fix every issue automatically? No. Findings include guidance to help you make changes in the right place. Optional front-end helpers address selected issues, such as skip links and focus visibility. They are not a replacement for fixing underlying content or theme problems. ### Can visitors see the scanner or issue overlay? The scanning tools and issue overlay are intended for administrators. Optional front- end improvements, when enabled, affect the visitor-facing pages. ### Do I need a license key? No. The WordPress.org version does not require a license key. ### Where can I find documentation?
