The plugin connects your WordPress site to your Lodging Suite property so guests can check availability, see live rates and book directly on your website, commission- free. Bookings appear in your Lodging Suite dashboard the moment they are made. Start a free trial at [lodgingsuite.com/signup](https://www.lodgingsuite.com/signup); plans are listed at [lodgingsuite.com](https://www.lodgingsuite.com/#pricing). #### What guests get * A search bar with check-in, check-out and guest counts, optional flexible dates( plus or minus up to 3 nights) and an availability calendar. * A results grid of available rooms or units with photos, live nightly rates and totals, configurable to 2 to 5 columns. * Room detail pages with a photo gallery and lightbox, amenities, descriptions, an availability calendar and a location map. * A booking sidebar that collects guest details, applies coupon codes and takes card payment through Stripe, or holds the reservation without payment if you prefer. #### What you get * Every rate, restriction, closure and season you set in Lodging Suite is honored on your site automatically. There is nothing to sync. * Guest details and card payments go straight to your own Stripe account, connected inside Lodging Suite. The plugin never stores card numbers. * Association mode lets a tourism board or resort association list several member properties and route each booking to the right one. * Colors, button styling, labels and column counts are configured on the plugin settings page, so the widgets match your theme. #### Shortcodes * `[lsbooking_property_search]` – search bar plus results grid. Attributes: `columns`,` flex`, `default_guests`, `detail_page_url`, `results_page_url`. * `[lsbooking_property_detail]` – one room or unit with gallery, calendar, map and booking sidebar. Attributes: `id`, `show_calendar`, `show_map`. Reads the` id` query parameter when no attribute is given. * `[lsbooking_booking_widget]` – the original booking widget. Attributes: `property_id`,` style`, `show_search`, `default_adults`, `default_children`. * `[lsbooking_room_list]` – a grid of your room types. Attributes: `property_id`,` show_prices`, `columns`, `detail_page_url`. * `[lsbooking_availability_search]` – a standalone search form. Attributes: `property_id`,` redirect_url`, `button_text`. * `[lsbooking_association_search]` and `[lsbooking_association_property_list]` – association mode search and property directory. Attributes: `show_booking`, ` sort_by`, `default_adults`, `default_children`, `columns`, `show_contact`, `show_amenities`. The settings page can create a Search Results page and a Room Detail page for you with the right shortcodes already in place. #### External services This plugin talks to the following services. No data is sent until a visitor uses a booking widget, except as noted. **Lodging Suite API** (operated by Lodging Suite, hosted on Supabase at `tjtvqqfsiqdseubrtngu. supabase.co`). Every widget loads your property content, availability and rates from this API, and sends bookings to it. Data sent: your property API key, search dates and guest counts, and for a booking the guest’s name, email, phone, address, special requests, coupon code and the payment token issued by Stripe. This is the service the plugin exists to connect to; it cannot work without it. Loaded only when you enter a Stripe publishable key on the settings page. Card details are entered in Stripe’s own hosted fields and go directly from the guest’s browser to Stripe; the plugin and Lodging Suite only receive a token. The room detail page embeds a map of the property’s location in an iframe; with a Google API key entered on the settings page the Maps Embed API is used instead. When a key is present the booking form also loads the Places library to autocomplete the guest’s address. Google receives the property coordinates and, for autocomplete, what the guest types in the address field. Set `show_map="false"` and leave the key empty to disable both. In your Lodging Suite dashboard open Settings > WordPress and generate an API key. Copy the key and your Property ID. 3. In WordPress open Lodging Suite in the admin menu, paste the key and Property ID, and click Test Connection. 4. Under Page Setup click Create Pages, or add `[lsbooking_property_search]` to your own results page and `[lsbooking_property_detail]` to your own detail page and select them there. 5. Optional: paste your Stripe publishable key to take card payments (connect Stripe inside Lodging Suite first), and a Google API key for the Maps Embed API and address autocomplete. 6. Add `[lsbooking_property_search]` wherever you want the search bar to appear, for example on your home page. ## FAQ ### Do I need a Lodging Suite account? Yes. The plugin is the website front end for the Lodging Suite property management system. Rooms, rates, availability and bookings all live there. There is no standalone mode. ### Is the plugin free? The plugin is free and open source. Lodging Suite itself is a paid subscription with a free trial; see [lodgingsuite.com](https://www.lodgingsuite.com/#pricing). ### Does it charge commission on bookings? No. Bookings made through your own site are commission-free. Card processing fees are charged by Stripe under your own Stripe account. ### Which payment processors are supported? Stripe. Connect your Stripe account inside Lodging Suite, then paste the publishable key into the plugin settings. Without a key the plugin holds reservations without payment. ### Will it work with my theme or page builder? Yes. The widgets are rendered by shortcodes, so they work in the block editor, classic editor, Elementor, and any theme. Use the Button Color, Button Text Color and Sticky Header Height settings to fit your design. ### Where do bookings go? Straight into your Lodging Suite dashboard, with confirmation emails sent from Lodging Suite to the guest and to you. ### Can I list more than one property? Yes.
