Unrelated words such as “seorank” or “web tasarımcı” are never matched. #### Features * **Page-based keywords:** list your pages and type the keywords (and variations) that should link to each one. If a page’s URL changes, links follow it automatically. * **External links:** keyword URL rules for other websites, with “open in new tab” and “nofollow” options. * **One keyword, one target:** a keyword can only be assigned to a single page or URL. * **Per-page link limit** (default 3). Links you added manually are never touched and count toward the limit — if a page already has 3 links, no new link is added. * **Only your own content:** works in the post/page content only. Comments, widgets, menus, headers and footers are never changed. Headings, quotes, code blocks, image captions and page-builder testimonial/review/button sections are skipped. * **Never links a page to itself.** Never adds a second link to a URL that is already linked on the page. * **Link health:** warns you when a target page is deleted, trashed, unpublished or returns 404 — and stops linking to it until you fix it. External targets are checked automatically once a day (can be turned off). * **Link report:** how many automatic links each target receives, from which pages and with which keyword. * **Test tab:** paste a paragraph and see which links would be added before saving. * **Backups:** your rules are backed up before every save and every plugin update; restore with one click. Updating or reinstalling the plugin never deletes your rules. * **Right in the editor:** a LinkWoow box in the post and page editor (block and classic) lets you add the keywords that should link to that page and switch off automatic links for it — without opening the plugin settings. * **Per-post switch** to disable automatic links on a specific post. #### LinkWoow Pro All features above are free and will stay free. [LinkWoow Pro](https://www.futuresearches.com/linkwoow-pro/) is a separate add-on for growing sites and agencies: keyword suggestions, click statistics, e-mail alerts for broken targets, CSV import/export and bulk add. #### Languages The plugin is translation-ready. Translations, including Turkish, are delivered through translate.wordpress.org. ### External services LinkWoow does not connect to any service run by the plugin author. Link health check: once a day (setting “Check external link targets automatically once a day”, on by default), when you type or save an external link rule, and when you click “Check now” in the Link health tab, LinkWoow sends an HTTP request (HEAD, falling back to GET) to **the target URLs you entered yourself** to find out whether they still work (for example, whether they return 404). Only the target URL is requested; no data about your site, your visitors or your content is sent. The request is made to whatever website you entered as a target, under that website’s own terms and privacy policy. ## Installation 1. Install from Plugins Add New (search “LinkWoow”) or upload the zip, then activate. 2. Open **LinkWoow** in the admin menu. 3. In **Pages**, type the keywords for each page (separate variations with a comma or Enter). Use **External links** for other websites. 4. Click **Save**. You can also add keywords for a page from the **LinkWoow** box while editing it. Open **Link report Update** to see which pages link to each page. ## FAQ ### Can I add keywords without opening the plugin settings? Yes. When you edit a post or page, the LinkWoow box in the sidebar shows the keywords that link to it. Type a keyword and press Enter or comma; it is saved right away. The box also shows how many pages link to it and lets you turn off automatic links for that post. Adding keywords requires the Editor role (or higher) because keywords affect the whole site. ### Will it change my existing links? No. Links you added yourself are never modified. They count toward the per-page limit, so a page that already has 3 links (with the default limit) receives no automatic links. ### Does it work with comments, widgets or page builders? Only the post/page content is processed (the `the_content` filter). Comments, widgets and menus are never changed. In page builders such as Elementor, testimonial, review, rating and button sections are skipped; you can add your own CSS classes to skip in Settings, or add the `linkwoow-skip` class to any element. ### What happens to my rules when I update or delete the plugin? Updates never delete your rules, reports or settings, and your rules are backed up before every update. Deleting the plugin keeps your data too (so a reinstall brings everything back) unless you enable “delete all data on uninstall” in Settings. ### Is it slow on large sites? Keywords that do not appear in a post are discarded before any processing; with 100 rules a typical post is processed in about 10 ms. Report scanning and health checks run in small batches in the background. ### Does it add tracking or send data anywhere? No. The free plugin does not track visitors and does not send your data to any service.
