## Description

Tired of opening orders one by one just to read or add a note? **Lime Order Notes
Inbox** gives you a dedicated **WooCommerce > Order Notes** admin page — a single
inbox for every note across your entire store.

**Features:**

 * Browse all order notes across every order in one unified view
 * Filter by note type (customer, private, system), order status, or date range
 * Search notes by keyword
 * Preview the full note history for any order in a modal — without leaving the 
   page
 * Add new notes or delete existing ones instantly via the REST API
 * Paginated by order, not note count — clean and fast even on large stores

**Fully compatible with:**

 * WooCommerce HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage)
 * Classic post-table storage

**Permissions:** requires the `manage_woocommerce` capability.

### Development

The plugin’s JavaScript and CSS are compiled from source using Node.js build tools.
The full, unminified source code is publicly available at:

https://github.com/Limewoo/lime-order-notes

To build from source:

 1. Clone the repository: `git clone https://github.com/Limewoo/lime-order-notes.git`
 2. Install dependencies: `bun install` (or `npm install`)
 3. Production build: `bun run build`
 4. Development / watch mode: `bun run start`

Source files live in `src/` — JavaScript (React/JSX) in `src/` and SCSS styles in`
src/styles/`. The compiled output goes to `build/`.

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** screen in WordPress.
 3. Navigate to **WooCommerce > Notes inbox** to use the inbox.

## FAQ

### Does this work with HPOS?

Yes. The plugin automatically detects whether HPOS is enabled and queries the correct
table.

### What permissions are required?

The `manage_woocommerce` capability is required to view or manage notes.
