When a custom avatar is selected, the plugin uses it as the user’s profile picture instead of the default Gravatar image. If the custom avatar is removed, WordPress falls back to the default avatar. Upload the plugin folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen. 2. Activate Leenkat Profile Avatar Manager through the Plugins screen in WordPress. 3. Go to Users > Profile. 4. Find the Profile Picture section. 5. Click Choose Image and select an image from the WordPress Media Library. 6. Save the user profile. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin replace Gravatar? When a custom avatar is selected for a user, the plugin uses that image instead of the user’s Gravatar image. If the custom avatar is removed, WordPress returns to the default avatar behavior. ### Can users select their own profile pictures? Yes. Users who have the required WordPress permissions can select an image using the WordPress Media Library from their profile screen. ### Can I remove a custom avatar? Yes. Click the Remove button in the Profile Picture section and save the user profile. WordPress will then return to the default avatar. ### Does the plugin use the WordPress Media Library? Yes. Avatar images are selected using the built-in WordPress Media Library. ### Is the plugin translation-ready? Yes. The plugin uses WordPress internationalization functions and includes translation support. ### Does the plugin use external services?
