having worked with miniorange and the LDAP sync software for over 18 months, it has matured into a robust and scalable solution for authentication whether it be a hybrid of LDAP and native wordpress or simply LDAP. The additional features such as role mapping to AD groups is extremely useful along with the first class support that goes above and beyond to help resolve some of the thorniest of authentication issues. For the price this is a superb and feature rich plugin for anyone wanting to integrate AD/LDAP into an existing or new WordPress environment.
