This plugin connects your WordPress site to your Lantis account: paste your Lantis code once and you are done. No theme edits, no header plugins, no copy-pasting into template files. **What you get** * AI translation into 60+ languages, updated automatically when your content changes. * A language switcher on every page, with the style and position you choose in Lantis. * A visual editor to fix any translation by hand, and a glossary for brand and product names. * Multilingual SEO when you connect your domain: one URL per language (`/fr/`, `/ de/`…), `hreflang` tags, translated sitemaps and canonical URLs, so Google indexes every language. * Works with any theme and page builder (Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, Bricks…) and with WooCommerce stores. **How it works** 1. Paste the code from Lantis (or just your site ID) and click **Connect**. The plugin checks that the site exists and has languages before installing anything. Languages you add later in Lantis appear on your site automatically. **Pricing** Lantis charges per language, with 500,000 translated words per language included and no setup fees: * 1 language: $3.50 per month. * 2 to 9 languages: $3 per language per month. * 10 or more languages: $2.50 per language per month. * Yearly billing: pay 10 months, get 12. Without it the plugin does nothing. * **When you click Connect or Refresh languages** in Settings Lantis, the plugin requests `https://proxy.get-lantis.com/api/config` with your Lantis site ID, to check that the site exists and to read its original language and published languages. Nothing else is sent. * **On every public page of your site**, once connected, visitors’ browsers load the Lantis script from `https://proxy.get-lantis.com/lantis.js`. When a visitor chooses a language, the texts of the page they are viewing, with its title and meta description, are sent to Lantis to be translated, and the translation is returned and cached. In your WordPress admin go to **Plugins Add New**, search for “Lantis” and click** Install Now**, then **Activate**. 2. Go to **Settings Lantis**. 3. Paste the code from your Lantis dashboard (or your site ID) and click **Connect**. If you had already pasted the Lantis code by hand (for example with a header-and- footer plugin or in your theme), remove it there so it is not loaded twice. ## FAQ ### How does Lantis work? Once connected, the plugin adds the Lantis script to your pages. When a visitor picks a language in the switcher, Lantis translates the texts of that page with AI, caches the translation and shows it. Each text is translated once and reused, and new or changed texts are translated automatically. Your WordPress content and database are never modified. ### Does it help with SEO? Yes, when you connect your domain in Lantis. Each language then gets its own URL(`/ fr/`, `/es/`…) with the page already translated in the HTML, `hreflang` tags, translated title and meta description, canonical URLs and a translated sitemap, so Google and other search engines index every language. Without connecting your domain, visitors still see your site in their language, but search engines only index the original. ### Which languages are supported? More than 60, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic and Hebrew (right-to-left languages are supported). You can translate into as many languages as you want and add or remove them at any time from your Lantis dashboard. ### What data is sent to Lantis? Only what is needed to translate: your Lantis site ID when you connect, and the visible texts of the page a visitor is viewing (with its title and meta description) when they choose a language. No passwords, no WordPress users, no form submissions and no personal data from your database. Lantis does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Open the visual editor in your Lantis dashboard, click any text and change it. You can also add glossary terms so brand names are never translated. ### How do I remove Lantis?
