Using it requires a Krama Sync account. A free plan and a 14-day trial of the paid plan are available. The plugin is useless without an account — it is a client, not a standalone tool. **Trademark disclaimer** Krama Sync is an independent product built and operated by Krama Tech (krama.tech). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MercadoLibre. MercadoLibre is a trademark of MercadoLibre, S.R.L., used here only to describe compatibility with its marketplace. ### External services This plugin relies on three external services. Installing and connecting it means store data leaves your server. Please read this section before installing. **1. Krama Sync API (Krama Tech)** The plugin sends data to the Krama Sync API in order to perform the synchronisation. This is the core function of the plugin and cannot be disabled while the plugin is connected. Endpoint: https://woo.melisync.krama.tech Data transmitted, and when: * When a product’s stock changes in WooCommerce: product ID, SKU, stock quantity, regular price. * When a product or variation is saved: product ID, variation ID, SKU, regular price, sale price. * When you create or sign in to your Krama Sync account from the onboarding wizard: the name, email address and password you submit, and the time you accepted the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Name and email are pre-filled from your WordPress user, and nothing is sent until you press the button. Creating an account sends a verification email to that address; the plugin stays on the wizard until the link in it is opened. * When you connect your store from the wizard or from Settings: your store URL and the WooCommerce REST API key and secret you enter, so the service can read and update your catalogue and create orders on your behalf. * When you publish or import: product titles, descriptions, images, categories, attributes and prices for the products you select. * When orders are imported: MercadoLibre order and buyer data needed to create the WooCommerce order. MercadoLibre API (MercadoLibre S.R.L.)** The Krama Sync service communicates with MercadoLibre on your behalf, using the credentials you authorise via MercadoLibre’s own OAuth screen. The plugin itself does not contact MercadoLibre directly; your MercadoLibre password is never seen by this plugin or by Krama Tech. Mercado Pago (Mercado Pago S.A.)** Paid Krama Sync plans are billed through Mercado Pago subscriptions. When you choose to upgrade from the plugin’s Settings screen, the Krama Sync API creates a subscription checkout and the plugin opens Mercado Pago’s own checkout page in a new browser tab. Payment details are entered on Mercado Pago’s site; the plugin never sees or stores them. Only the account email you registered with Krama Sync is shared with Mercado Pago to attach the subscription to your account. Nothing is sent to Mercado Pago unless you start an upgrade. It does not contact the Krama Sync API to look for new versions. ### Source code The admin interface in `build/index.js` is compiled with @wordpress/scripts (webpack). The complete, human-readable sources are shipped inside this plugin, so no external download is needed to review or rebuild them: * `src/` — the TypeScript/React source files. * `webpack.config.js` — the build configuration. * `package.json` — the dependencies and build script. To rebuild: run `npm install && npm run build` in the plugin directory. This regenerates build/index.js and `build/index.asset.php`. ## Installation 1. Install and activate WooCommerce if you have not already. This plugin will not activate without it. 2. Install the plugin from the WordPress plugin directory, or upload it through ** Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**. 3. Activate the plugin. 4. Go to **Krama Sync** in the admin menu and follow the onboarding wizard: create or connect your Krama Sync account, then authorise your MercadoLibre account. 5. Choose which products to synchronise. ## FAQ ### Do I need a paid account? You need a Krama Sync account. There is a free plan, and the paid plan includes a 14-day trial. ### Does this work with MercadoLibre outside Chile? Currently the service targets MercadoLibre Chile only. ### Does it change my MercadoLibre prices automatically? Only if you enable price synchronisation. Stock and price sync are configured separately, and price sync is off until you turn it on. ### What happens to my listings if I deactivate the plugin? Nothing is deleted. Synchronisation stops; your WooCommerce products and MercadoLibre listings stay as they are. ### What data is removed when I uninstall? Deleting the plugin removes its WordPress options, including the stored account token.
