## Description

KMS Field Health 0.1.0 provides a read-only snapshot of Advanced Custom Fields (
ACF) configuration and relevant WordPress/PHP environment facts.

Open the Health page from Field Health in the WordPress Admin Bar, or the Health
action link on the Plugins screen. Access requires the manage_options capability,
normally held by administrators. There is no permanent sidebar menu or settings
page.

The snapshot reports:

 * ACF availability, version, and detectable PRO/field type availability.
 * Field group and field counts, counts by type, and detected containers/nesting.
 * WordPress and PHP versions, PHP limits, environment type, and external object
   cache use.
 * Configured Local JSON load paths and default save path when determinable.

Green means only “Health snapshot completed successfully.” Gray means the ACF snapshot
is unavailable or could not be completed. Field counts, repeaters, Flexible Content,
and nesting depth are facts, not risk ratings. The plugin makes no claims about
speed, optimization, or future risk.

Snapshots are collected only when the Health page is opened and are not stored.
No content values or post meta are scanned. The plugin does not modify fields, field
groups, posts, configuration, or content. It adds no database tables or plugin options.

There is no telemetry, external service, or remote data transmission. All plugin
assets are local. No background jobs, remote APIs, monitoring, repair tools, or
performance benchmarking are included.

ACF Free and ACF PRO are supported through optional ACF API detection. If ACF is
absent, this plugin still activates safely and the Health page displays an unavailable
snapshot with environment facts. It does not install or activate ACF.

## FAQ

### Does green mean my site is fast or optimized?

No. It means only that the defined snapshot collectors completed successfully. Version
0.1.0 does not measure performance or assign risk scores.

### What happens without ACF?

The Health page remains accessible. It calmly explains that ACF is required for
the ACF snapshot and shows environment facts. ACF Free and PRO are both compatible;
PRO-only field types are reported when detectable.

### How are fields and depth counted?

Counts describe field occurrences returned by ACF’s definition APIs, including clone
expansion performed by ACF. They are not a count of unique stored definitions. Exposed
sub_fields and Flexible Content layout subfields are traversed. Top-level fields
have depth 1, empty structures have depth 0, and layouts do not add a level. Custom
types are counted, but opaque custom containers cannot be inspected. Groups include
registered PHP/JSON definitions and inactive groups when ACF exposes them; filters
may change what ACF returns.

### Does Local JSON detection inspect files?

No. It reports ACF’s filtered configuration settings. Paths do not prove that files
or folders exist, are writable, or are used. Additional load filters and item-specific
save filters may change the paths ACF uses. Unsupported or ambiguous settings display“
Not determined.” Local JSON absence is not a warning.

### Is data changed, stored, or sent anywhere?

No. Snapshots last only for the current page request. There is no telemetry, external
service, or remote data transmission. No field values or post meta are scanned.

### Does it work on multisite?

The Health page is per site, including when network activated. It is not a network-
wide report. Open a site’s dashboard with manage_options access.
