Klaviyo for WooCommerce

Description

By adding the Klaviyo plugin, you’ll allow Klaviyo to connect with your WooCommerce store. This will send data about abandoned carts, orders, customers and products to Klaviyo so you can easily set up newsletters and automated emails to grow your business.

Features

Klaviyo for WooCommerce has the following features:

  • Tracks when customers start checking out and complete checkouts so you can send abandoned cart emails.
  • Embed a customized email sign up, customizing the title, description and button text.

Usage

First, install the base Klaviyo WordPress plugin and add your public API key. Then install the Klaviyo for WooCommerce plugin as well. Finally, in your Klaviyo account, enter your WooCommerce API keys. After that you’ll see WooCommerce data in Klaviyo and you can set up abandoned cart emails with product images and your store’s branding.

To add a newsletter sign up, select the Klaviyo email sign up widget from the Appearance > Widgets section.

FAQ

Where is the Klaviyo code added?

Our analytics code is added to the <head> section of your theme by default. It should be somewhere near the bottom of that section.

Opened my website to several security flaws

Klaviyo seem to be using the same IP with 3 different malicious bots. Whenever i block those malicious IP (that have completely different user agent names - who attempted severally to access my website admin login, xml, rest api, web service, license and several request i do not even understand - with 49 requests within 2 minutes). I immediately got an email from klaviyo that they are no more authorized to assess my wocommerce website. Upon cancelling the block, and connect klaviyo back, klaviyo got connected. Tried this three times just to confirm what i was seeing and to make sure i wasn't dreaming. So technically, if i didn't have a strong security in place with a concrete firewall in my website, my website would have been injected with several malicious codes and more. I have decided to deactivate the plugin and deleted. I tried to close my klaviyo account, but no option to do that. Somewhere in their help page,, they said to close your account, you must contact the support. Why do i have to contact support before i can close an account i opened myself without contacting the support. This is crazy and more reason why i have to run away from klaviyo without looking back. My advice is to just stay away, if you want to stay away from hacks and trouble.

Works perfectly

Works perfectly on wordpress 4.9.8 with woocommerce 3.5.1 Have a descent free plan that allows you to grow your business enough to be able to get a paid plan and can manage more users once you earn enough money for this. Just the documentation is maybe not enough easy to find for beginners but it's easy to install. Use it for my abandoned cart flow; just had to install the plugin, get the key on my klaviyo profile and put in in my plugin config then put the right email in the flow settings and that's all as far as i remember. Thank you for this great plugin.
