All widgets are enabled when the plugin is installed; administrators can adjust their visibility in Elementor’s insert panel from KitCanvas > Widgets. Existing page content remains renderable when a widget is hidden from the insert panel. #### Included widgets * **KC Buttons** – 10 interaction styles: Capsule Icon, Split Reveal, Layered Offset, Text Switch, Border Trace, Magnetic Arrow, Liquid Fill, Sliding Panel, Dual Circle, and Directional Reveal. * **KC Heading** – Text highlights with solid, gradient, or image fills, plus seven motion styles and a no-animation setting. * **KC Image Motion** – Subtle Zoom and Liquid Distortion, Image Only or Image Card layouts, responsive sizing and action buttons. * **KC Site Logo** – WordPress Site Identity logo or uploaded artwork, optional mobile image, title fallback, and responsive controls. * **KC Breadcrumb** – Semantic breadcrumbs for pages, posts, taxonomies, archives, and other WordPress views. * **KC NavMenu** – Native WordPress menus, nested submenus, mobile hamburger, dropdown, and off-canvas drawer. * **KC Page Title** – Dynamic titles for pages, posts, archives, searches, and 404 pages, with optional custom text. * **KC Form** – Configurable contact forms with responsive fields, required-field validation, AJAX email delivery via WordPress `wp_mail()`, a honeypot, and basic rate limiting. #### Header and footer builder Create Elementor Free header and footer templates in KitCanvas > Theme Builder, choose display conditions, and publish them. Automatic replacement of theme header/ footer areas is currently supported only with the Hello Elementor theme (including child themes). Other themes retain their own header and footer. Elementor Canvas and Elementor Pro Theme Builder locations are left untouched. #### Privacy and external services KitCanvas does not create accounts, send telemetry, contact a KitCanvas service, or transmit data to a vendor API. The KC Form sends submitted fields to a WordPress- site-configured recipient using `wp_mail()`, without saving form submissions in a KitCanvas database. For abuse prevention, the site stores a temporary request counter keyed with a salted hash of the visitor IP address. Site owners should disclose form-data handling in their privacy policy and configure reliable mail delivery if needed. Install and activate the free Elementor plugin. 2. Install KitCanvas from Plugins > Add New, or upload the KitCanvas ZIP and activate it. 3. Edit a page with Elementor and find the eight widgets in the KitCanvas category. 4. Optional: manage widget visibility at KitCanvas > Widgets. 5. Optional: on Hello Elementor, use KitCanvas > Theme Builder to create a header or footer, edit it with Elementor, set display conditions, and publish it. 6. For KC Form email delivery, configure its recipient and test a submission on the public page. Some hosting providers require a separate WordPress SMTP setup. ## FAQ ### Do I need Elementor Pro? No. The widgets and Hello Elementor header/footer builder work with Elementor Free. ### Do widgets stop rendering when I hide them in the Widget Manager? No. Hiding a widget only removes it from the new-widget insert panel. Existing pages keep their content. ### Does the Theme Builder work with any WordPress theme? Automatic header/footer replacement is supported with Hello Elementor and its child themes. With other themes, their native header/footer areas remain unchanged. ### How are KC Form submissions delivered and stored? Submissions are emailed with WordPress `wp_mail()` to the recipient configured in the Elementor widget (or the WordPress administrator email by default). The plugin does not save submissions in its own database. Temporary salted-hash rate-limit counters are used for abuse prevention. Email delivery depends on the site’s mail configuration. ### Can I upgrade from the KitCanvas 0.3.x betas? Yes. The 1.0.0 release keeps the `kitcanvas` plugin directory, eight widget identifiers, and settings used by the latest 0.3.x beta. As with any update, back up the site first. ### Is registration or a subscription required?
