Kitawolf Unregistered Tag Cleanup provides a complete manual cleanup workflow without
scan, result, suppression, whitelist, or cleanup limits.

The separately distributed [Kitawolf Unregistered Tag Cleanup Pro](https://kitawolfstudios.com/unregistered-tag-cleanup.html)
plugin adds CSV and JSON reports, multi-select result controls, bulk suppression,
and bulk ignore workflows. The Pro code is not included in this WordPress.org plugin.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `kitawolf-unregistered-tag-cleanup` directory to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
 2. Activate Kitawolf Unregistered Tag Cleanup through the Plugins screen.
 3. Open Tools > Unregistered Tag Cleanup.
 4. Run a scan and review every result before applying cleanup actions.

## FAQ

### Does the free plugin limit scans or cleanup?

No. All manual scanning, preview, suppression, ignore, and cleanup features are 
available without quotas.

### Does cleanup create revisions?

Yes. Content changes use WordPress’s post update API so supported post types can
retain revisions according to the site’s normal revision settings.

### Is suppression destructive?

No. Suppression filters selected unregistered shortcode tags on display and leaves
stored post content unchanged. It is disabled by default.
